Your countries exports to Europe wouldnt be so big if you where outside the EEA. Fact is, being inside the EEA HELPS your exports out of your local country.

If you where outside the EEA companies that dependant on exports to Europe, would find it very expensive and hard, and not be as competitive.

That also includes Exporting to the UK as it is in the EEA.

Well so it should, that was what the EU was supposedly set up for, to increase trade among member countries.

Why do you think Germany wants to 'save' Ireland on the other PIGS nations with bailouts? Its not out of the goodness of their hearts, its because they know if one country collapses then German banks will be on the hook for billions in losses, and the German exports will at the very least decrease.

Because everybody in Europe is dependant on each other, they are all exporting to each other, it is in their own interests everywhere for them to help each other out.

Being together is stronger than being isolated or do you want the status quo of America again?

From 2009, the infamous Red House report from 1944

www.dailymail.co.uk...

The paper is aged and fragile, the typewritten letters slowly fading. But US Military Intelligence report EW-Pa 128 is as chilling now as the day it was written in November 1944.

The document, also known as the Red House Report, is a detailed account of a secret meeting at the Maison Rouge Hotel in Strasbourg on August 10, 1944. There, Nazi officials ordered an elite group of German industrialists to plan for Germany's post-war recovery, prepare for the Nazis' return to power and work for a 'strong German empire'. In other words: the Fourth Reich.

Enlighten me... What did you want to express with that link? That germany has a hidden agenda to take over europe? When the time is right nazis pop up everywhere (they developed that technique after they established their base on the dark side of the moon) to take control? I would expect something like this from the daily mail but not from someone who calls himself a scholar and a writer let alone a liberal Elite...

Britain has its own fair share of Nazis.

BNP , EDL...

Germany is not naziland.
Just as socialism is not communism
Just as socialism is not nazism.

This has probably been said before, but if it's a union of 10 nations, Ima consider that a real sign of the Biblical Apocalypse.

Super duper.

I was pro EU until the Lisbon treaty. They showed they don't care what the people think when they rehashed the rejected European constitution into the Lisbon treaty, and then refused to accept the result of the first Irish referendum, basically forcing a second referendum until they got the right result. I don't think a Franco-German driven EU would be run in the interests of the European people, instead it would mainly benefit Germany and to a lesser extent France. The ECB mainly serves German economic interests from what I can see.

If you don't want a Franco-German run EU; get in there and contribute.

Reminds me of America whining about the UN, so go get in there and fix it.

But for people to start staming their feet and throwing the word "nazi" about does not fix anything and just shows ignorance.

All this is, is a proposal.
The UK and its nationalism agenda would never allow such a thing.
That is unless it is overthrown due to rioting citizens?...However, whom knows what will come of that.
I see this as a simply a power move by Germany and France to gain full control of diplomatic, monetary, and military means. The UK, Italy, Spain, etc...will not oblige to such a thing. These countries still need to be broken down immensely from the top down for this to take full steam.

Deutschland == Germany

might also want to take a look at her (provided she really is a 'she') profile.

joined less than a month ago, with a very narrow scope of interest.... just saying.

======================

on a side note, isn't it funny how nearly each and every proponent of world gov't has underlying hate issues? when they aren't talking about how someone is too stupid, they ramble how much they contribute and how people who disagree probably don't. the other one (metaldemon - sp?) is even openly advocating eugenics. i have the sinking feeling the contribution will eventually be towards war and suffering but then i'm reading a conspiracy board, so i'm nuts anyways, right

be that as it may, i think NWO exists but even if it did not, the concept alone really serves to flesh out the personalities of certain people - ignore at own peril!

Eugenics never went away, it just went dark.

For all the things people blame on Europe, America and Britain actually are the worst commiters of it.

I knew a person who was studying in canada, to get a work permit, they would have to cancel their study permit, and that required leaving Canada. So, is it easy to migrate study permits to work permits? On the other hand the jobs that need to be done by employers wont be done by locals, yet if immegrants get them, they cry foul. No win situation.

Jesus mate im with you, makes me want to cry reading some of these responses & these are people on ATS !? What about the randomers on the street who dont even know what a conspiracy is !?

The European Union is more "advanced" than the USA or the rest of the world. It is the home of the Central banking elite after all and therefore "home" of NWO

This is what you can expect here in the USA in 10 to 20 years or perhaps less.

A year ago in The Global Journal this article appeared Of What Use is Global Governance? written by Pascal Lamy, Director, World Trade Organization (WTO) He speaks of the European Union as sort of an intermediate stage.

...[The EU is cv] the very incarnation of an international organization of integration in which Member States have agreed to relinquish sovereignty in order to strengthen the coherence and effectiveness of their actions.

...If there is one place on earth where new forms of global governance have been tested since the Second World War, it is in Europe. European integration is the most ambitious supranational governance experience ever undertaken. It is the story of interdependence desired, defined, and organized by the Member States. In no respect is the work complete—neither geographically nor in terms of depth (i.e., the powers conferred by the Member States to the E.U.), nor, obviously, in terms of identity....

Our challenge today is to establish a system of global governance that provides a better balance between leadership, effectiveness, and legitimacy on the one hand, and coherence on the other...

I dont know about study permits or work permits. I was talking about locals.

About the jobs locals wouldnt do, i don't know what jobs you are talking about. Maybe to pick berries in British Columbia? Student job.. I'm talking about real jobs here. We need computer analysts and stuff like that.

If we have (still) an unemployment rate, that means we dont need foreign workers or students. We just need locals to get their ass on the street and get the jobs.

When we get a "0" unemployment, that will leave place to foreign to come study and work here no?

Peace out.

Funny they talk about long term "Political Solutions". If they want that they need to have permission from the various country's peoples to be democratic otherwise there is going to be more trouble on the streets. I don't think many countries outside of France and Germany want their economic policy dictated to by France and Germany
...

they dont have the will of the german people to do that..its that creepy european parliament burocrates that dont give a f**k about what the people think .In fact over 80 % of german people like their politics ..

cheers

I never mentioned anything about the Nazis, although its not much more ignorant than some your comments about Ireland here and the US on other threads

Whats your position on the EU? You seem all for integration, co-dependence and helping out one minute, then say you wouldn't work in Ireland because it would only help the country (and not because you can't command an extortionate wage triple what the jobs worth) and give the impression you hope the country crashes and burns.

@Long Lance: The posters location was only recently updated, wasn't there before the poster asked about her nationality. I'm not sure 'shes' German either

This is not a bad thing if it only was, say, France, Germany, maybe Italy, and a few surrounding countries. It could probably not work with Italy, UK, and Spain though, hence the maybe on Italy.

It best, you'd unite France, Germany, and the inbetweens. They're the most similar and have histories together that go back hundreds of years.

In reality, they just want a new Rome. They always have, ever since Rome fell. It's been their dream for 1500 years now.
