That Large Professor track is pretty good. Not so sure about the Lif one.

I've been playing the Headnotic CD a lot recently, you might like it. It's bass-heavy hip-hop in the good way...

Oh yeah, that Headnodic album was great. "Turn Your Radio Up" was probably my favorite track.

I think the lyrics in this are pretty witty and clever.

Aesop has done some good stuff and the track with Evil 9 was epic. I just can't get into his albums.

Evil 9 played at Nation about 3 years back and the bass was showing up in Russia

That's true man, I like a few of his tracks but not his biggest fan to be honest.
There's some really great lines in Battery though.

Hip-Hop as a genre is, for me, as varied and vast as music itself... to even remember all the stuff there is and all the stuff I have, is a mammoth task.

And yeah man, that track is cool too

Sometimes the stuff he says seems nonsensical to me. It's very abstract at times, but it'll be a while before he gets constant replay from me.

The second song reminds me of Killah Priest a little bit.

man this is sick. I like it when artist can capture the abstract way of thoughts. Allot of good metaphors. As far as ASEOP rock hes got allot to bring to the table. I cant comprehend %10 of what he says. It only makes me want to listen to him more.

I honestly think that it's one of the best hip-hop/poetry pieces ever man, just amazing.
The beat is perfect, the lyrics linger and twist your mind and the music is ethereal.

A near perfect record.

And yeah as for Aesop, when he's on form, he's pretty good man, just not consistent enough.... but there are always 2-3 tracks an album....

Peace
