Crazy Mayor Runs Over Illegally Park Cars with a WAR TANK

This could be in a political forum, but too many choices.

Ideology, issues, people, madness, etc... So Current Events sounded just fine.

In the City of Vilnius - July 30, 2011,

Mayor A.Zuokas was sick and tired of these arrogant
people with high-dollar cars parking illegaly as if
they were above the law. Well, the titles says it all.

Now if this was the resulting consequense of illegal
parking in every City, I bet there would be no more
illegal parking.

I say give each City a tank and a driver-on-call, and
you could get rid of meter maids, ticket police, and
save quite a bundle.

A perfect solution for governments facing bankruptcy
in todays service-exhausted economy.

In the video, the owner of the car looked dumbfounded.
My hat's off to the mayor for keeping the law, and for chosing
the right tool for the job,

Would have been so much better if it wasn't staged. I saw this on Jalopnik a few weeks back and thought it was very funny but it sort of fell short when I learned it was just a publicity stunt. We need more angry mayors in tanks!

Haha yup....thats why i rarely bother to post any news, by the time ive woken up half a dozen people have already got there lol stupid time differences

It would be good if they did this where i lived.....people illegally park knowing its only a £60 fine...when your driving a £200,000 Rolls £60 is a drop in the ocean...its a bargain even, you can park where you want when you want and it will cost you maybe 5 minutes worth of earnings

Im sure if a tank were to drive up and down my high road the Rolls, Bentleys, Ferarris etc wouldnt be so brazen about parking illegally

Let's watch TSHTF when he finds someone has illegally parked their own tank please.
