Create your own list of laws to live by.

If you had the power to create a list of rules we must all live by, what would you choose?
Here are mine:

All men and women are to be treated as equals, regardless of Age, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Disability.

All men and women are expected to work for the good of humanity, unless physical or mental ailments deem it too difficult to work effectively.

Those who work hardest get paid more, but all shall get paid enough to live a moderate life.

Everyone has the right to a fair trial, and fair justice.

Every homeowner has the right to defend his/her home and family from threat or intruders by any means necessary.

In a sentence:

You make your life....

Treat others how you wish to be treated yourself....works for me.

First, before doing good, be sure you do no harm.

Complying with that goal alone in a meaningful way is difficult enough to warrant a lifetime's work, so for now that's the only law I'l list...

I would like to keep this list short and sweet. For it work, people gotta stop being jerks and doing bad. Actually, people just need to calm down, I guess.

Interesting, You seem to have sort of a mix of democracy and communism.

I will think about my rules and come back

Do no harm

Since I was 12, I lived my life without religion... and figured, as long as I never hurt myself or others, I would live a happy fulfilling life. And, tada - doing pretty good

I agree with previous posters. I live by the one law.

So long as what you do harms no one, do as you will.

a world of no lies would be a perfect world for me.

1. I make the rules.

2. I break the rules, but you can't.
