I understand what you are saying. They where really simplistic decades ago and totally agree with many of them being hoaxes but the ones now are mind blowing. For example the Alien one that is holding a disc or the 3d face one that appeared years ago. This is way more than ropes and boards being used. I would buy the possibility of a satellite using microwaves like a giant printer way before I can see a few people doing this. Even the Mozilla Firefox one that was created was made in the daytime over the coarse of a couple days by 12 people. Most of these are overnight without any eyewitness reports and many more detailed than Mozilla's crop circle. Your claim would have to have many people aware that these are going on and I don't see humans being able to keep a secret like this. Why would a farmer allow anyone to ruin his crops just for a tourist attraction especially when many of the farmers don't allow anyone to come on their land to see them?

How do these crop circle makers do the weaving effect with 2 planks and a piece of string it is something that has puzzled my greatly?
