Ireland Faces Down Vatican: Demands $2 Billion in Abuse Compensation

Perhaps they should start foreclosing on Church property in Ireland. If they took over all of the schools, which are probably very profitable, they could then use those profits to pay back the families. Won't be lump sums, but at least overtime they'd even it off - and the Church would be out all those valuable properties they lost forever, so it would be double punishment.

Finally a leader who has the guts to stand up to the Vatican, say it like it is, and assert the sovreignty of the Irish people.

The Vatican has gota way with this for way too long in Ireland and in other countries, but the Irish have, imo, suffered more than any country the sinister oppression and abuve of the ssatanic Catholic Church.

Enda Kenny's speech to parilament was an unprecended, blistering attack on the Vatican. A historic 'j'accuse' which has revceived massive support within Ireland and around the world.



And now he's showing these were not empty words. The Vatican has withdrawn its ambassador and Kenny is demanding $2 billion in compensation.

Brawo a hundred times. Enda Kenny is setting an example to the world. I hope more, many more will follow and stand up to the cold, iron, evil grip of the Vatican in their respective lands so that the walls of secrecy, deceit and heinous crimes are torn down and the truth of their evil is exposed to all.

The Vatican has no powers anymore even though they do have money, but their not going to roll into anyones country like the crusaders and take back anything, the irish are in control of that sichiation
