Changing times indeed.
I see someone already posted a link to Wellington's (NZ) snow storm on the first page, so I won't add any more links.
Here on the Kapiti Coast 50km north of Wellington we had wet snow yesterday at sea level (I live by the beach), although it didn't settle on the
ground.
Unprecedented in the 16 years I've lived here, but some older people think it snowed like this back in the 1930's.
We usually get a dumping on the Tararua Ranges at least once a year, but never down to this low level.
I haven't been to Wellington for 4 days, only went half way on Monday and turned back.
This was the main road through Mana the day I went down.
and this is just not right at all, palm trees and snow !
