Or just get firefox and run the adblock addon?
Seems like a much easier solution rather than complaining about it.

Not looking to end your rant, just saying there is a much......less frustrating way to handle the whole ad situation, instead of just one lousy ad. Rant on!

step 1. download modzilla firefox

step 2. search modzilla firefox addons

step 3. download most popular addon

step 4. chill out

As well, I find it hard to fathom that more internet users aren't running Firefox w/Adblock. I've not seen ads for more than a year on over 90% of the sites I visit and I don't miss 'em.

I'm sure one of the mods will stop by and remind everybody that using adblock software while on ATS is a violation of T&Cs.

I wonder if they even have a way to tell though. (aside from threads like these where folks come out and admit to using it
)

I have firefox...I don't know about an ad blocker because I still see the allstate ad on this page now, and other ads at the top...however I have never had any issues with drop down ads or invasive ads.

Just use Firefox with No Script add on, your cares will melt away. Oh don't forget Ad Blocker. It's like internet surfing in the olden days, before the dawn of the ipod.

hmmmm well thank you all for the advice. I am using Mozilla Firefox and it usually works well. I dont have any apps and probably wont. However I didnt realize we are'nt suppose to block ads. But if we arent ATS shouldnt allow these companies to use roll over drop downs either. Also hope no one gets warnings .......
