Your entire post seems stupid. Not everyone studied Nat. Am. History in school. And you should know what the school system is like.

Now give me a GOOD reason that a citizen of the United States cannot have their picture taken? This is a free country. Sorry if you don't like him.... I don't really either....

He didn't have to earn his rights any more than you did.....

and honestly... Your name calling is really making you look like bad. Not Obama.Just saying.

He has every right.Get over it.

How about you go after the man over something that MATTERS? Come on, he is the modern Jimmy Carter...You must be able to come up with something about him you don't like other than he dared to have his picture taken in a public place!!!!

Try going after his policies....at least you would be making a bit of sense. As it is,you are rambling and calling the president names because he had his picture taken.Ive heard similar rants from crazy people in the streets here in Dallas. :/

You are a very angry person, OP....

You should consider turning off Rush Limbaugh.... that stuff rots your brain.

Lighten up, is what I am trying to say. He took a picture. Thats it....

If you are going to attack a man, be man or woman enough to attack him for who he is. You don't like his policies? Bitch about that!

Complaining that a man took a picture in a free country? Really?

Yeah, that Obama.Got his picture taken...such a scumbag

It has nothing to do with the photo op, it has everything to do with his pathetic conniving and power mongering.

I'll lighten up when i see that man gone from Washington and out of our pockets, apparently you love his thievery and conniving???

Wait, so you're not mad about the photo op? really? then why whine and piss about it?

And I love your attitude of "everyone who disagrees with me loves him/is gulliible/corrupt/idiot"

It may be oversimplization but it is based in fact. Tribes that actively encourage the youth of their tribe to go out, get a college degree and then turn around and bring that knowledge back to the reservation, to build there, tend to start to turn around the entire tribe. It is a fact that most who live on a reservation get money from the federal government and housing, thus they have incentives to live and stay there instead of going off the reservation and trying to improve themselves. And it is a fact that tribes with casinos do not share the wealth with other tribes in the area, that do not have a casino on their reservation. Having lived in areas with reservations, it quickly became clear to see how they lived, and it was not pretty, rather it was depressing. But those who had casinos lived a lot better lives than those who did not, those whose children went and became professionals, their reservations did much better. It can not be for a lack of opportunity, as there are more scholarships that were offered to those who were of native American descent than those who were not, and those whose tribes did go off the reservations, well lets just say the federal government does not mess around with, as they have some of the sharpest lawyers around that prevent the federal government from messing with them, by writing the contracts that allow for them to have the advantage.
Give a man a fish and he will starve, show a man how to fish and he will never know hunger. And those tribes that take every advantage they can get do far better than those who do not. And like any who are a citizen of the country, that is a minority, the politicians are going to try to use, that is also a fact. They just need to start to change a bit, their way of thinking, to incorporate the fact that this is now, and the past is gone. If they want to have a stake in the world, then they need to take the risks that go along with it, not just sit back and moan about what could have been. They need to look at the other tribes that are successful and ask how did they do it, and perhaps put together a plan that would enable and empower them to take the next step and become just as successful.
Of all of the minority groups that live in the US, they are the only ones that have seperate countries unto themselves, with their rules and laws that are seperate than the local states. Comitt a crime on a reservation and it is considered a federal offense.
