A part of growing up is learning that not everyone will like you or accept you. Such a militant demand of 'acceptance' from homosexuals is very telling how uncomfortable and perhaps guilty they are with themselves. I don't expect everyone to like and accept me and I couldn't care less if they don't. I'm not going to demand that everyone accept me because it's no concern of mine and it's not anyone's obligation to do so. If homosexuals themselves had no qualms about homosexuality itself, they would feel no need to tout it as 'equal' to heterosexuality. The source of homosexual dissatisfaction is largely inner turmoil rather than outside criticism. I don't feel a bit sorry for that obnoxious kid who is so self-centered to think it's everyone's obligation to accept him.

Michelle Bachmann is a fruit-loop.

Any one who votes for her is not of their right mind.

I believe in freedom of association, so your point is moot.

As for the issue of marital benefits, this is no more 'discriminatory' against homosexuals as it is two old sisters cohabiting or people who simply choose not to get married. It's just something to whine about.
