I am so sick of this idiocracy. Ron Paul is clearly the most fit candidate, yet the media is pushing Romney, Bachmann, and Perry.

I blame the stupid sheeple. They should have their voting rights revoked, so only the smart people can vote. Leave the voting to the adults, children because you are obviously too stupid to make your own decisions.

It was very close. Fox is saying Paul was behind by about 200 votes.

I was suprised to see Pawlenty in the top 3, although he only had about half of the votes Paul and Bachmann had.

Listening to the local Iowan reporter, she announced that she talked with several former RP supporters that changed their mind after they heard his answer to a foreign relations questions, specifically on Iran, during the debate.

Here's some of the numbers

www.latimes.com...

Bachmann made history, as well, becoming the first woman to win the event. She received 4,823 votes out of the almost 17,000 votes cast.

The Minnesota congresswoman narrowly outpaced libertarian Rep. Ron Paul, who had 4,671 votes

Tim Pawlenty finished third with 2,293, a showing that keeps him in the game for next year’s Iowa caucuses

Second place is huge for Paul. If he had the same press coverage as the others and people knew who he is and what he stands for he would win in a landslide

People need to stop making decisions based on fear. Why are we afraid of Iran again? Oh right, because they could have nukes. But WTF? China & Russia have nukes, heck even Al Qaeda is rumored to have nukes yet they aren't used against us, just as a deterrent.

FEAR FEAR FEAR. FEAR IS GOOD!

It was almost a tie, Paul is doing better this time around than the last.

Let's see them marginalize him now, gonna be alot harder.

Do you think Ron Paul would agree with your statement regarding the revocation of voting rights? I see your point and feel your pain but figure the best move is to enlighten people rather than revoke their rights.

my o my; the evangelicals must be dancing with the devil tonight. first Perry throws his 10 gallon hat into the ring and then Bachmann wins the straw poll. what's next? actually I don't care to know, at least while sober. on days like this that SHTF scenario don't look all so bad now does it?

I know and I'm just extremely frustrated. I agree that voting rights shouldn't be revoked, but at the same time, people just vote for whoever the media says to vote for. In 2008, it was Obama, 2004 Bush... As long as the MSM is spewing utter nonsense, people will vote nonsensically. Besides the stupidity of people, the MSM is the issue.
