Hello - and a lost civilization question!

Good afternoon everyone! I signed up for ATS about three years ago after a recommendation from a friend that has been a member for years. I was on here for a few months, but stopped coming after I was distracted by personal issues.

Well, I'm still interested in everything on this site, so I'm back, and glad to be here!

That being said, I have a question...

Afew years ago, on another wbsite, I saw a short "blurb," that I think was from one of those urban legends that gets passed around in emails. It told about the supposed writer's grandfather, who served in Europe during World War II. He and another man were on a patrol (I think in Belgium or France) when their jeep broke down in the woods. They stopped to fix it, and soon found themselves approached by two strange men. They had long hair and beards, and dressed in rough clothes or furs that made them look like Vikings or Celts or something. They didn't understand English, and spoke a grunting, guttural language. They left, the soldiers fixed the jeep, and that was that.

Anyone know of this story, or have the text?

Any help would be appreciated.
