Orthodox Jews ambush Western Journalist in severe Talmud district

Posters on walls of extreme Talmud district remind of London sharia posters. Western man enters at his peril and is ambushed by huge band of extremist Orthodox Jews in Israel. So much for Israeli freedom! Israel is a religious freak show. This is not racism, this is a legitimate criticism of Judaism a religious freak show. Jerusalem is the heart of Christianity, yet Judaism has overrun the city and made it almost exclusively Jewish and preaches hate towards others.

I have nothing against jews, just wanted to point to this video and maybe discuss this with a few of you. What gives people the right to think like this, let alone try to act like this?

I know there are a lot of people that will defend this saying it is only a few that acts like this, but isn't it always?

I live in a western world country, and I know I can't begin to fathom the culture in israel, I'm just saying, if all communities acted like this there would be no way, we could live together in harmony.

If you do a little research you will find this kind of thing happens with every religion in every country in the world..

I understand that it has recently been discussed in the UK, with Sharia posters in specific communities. And you're right, it probably happens all over the world in some parts. But, that doesn't justify the behaviour in any way.

This is extremist behaviour and should be shut down. Just like any other extremist behaviour.
The man in this video is treading public property, not private. He is being told to go because it is not his land. It's racist.

Really. Well, isn't UK a Western country? Look what goes on there. France not a Western country? Breivik is an orthodox Jew? Police in Sweden fears to enter certain areas. All West.
So there is this neighborhood of Jewish bigots and there is this guy who went there and was attacked. Israel baaaad.

"You get used to the usual abuse covering these things, and you take it in your stride, but last night they were definitely targeting journalists."....
"A number of people who have been taking photographs have been attacked, I've seen three journalists attacked, quite badly actually, thrown to the floor and beaten by a group of youths.

www.journalism.co.uk...
This is a culture you apparently can "fathom". Usual abuse is probably due to all these Talmudic Jews from occupied capital of Christianity Jerusalem and not due to Western culture bigots and rioters.

That is pretty extreme.

Thanks for sharing!

As a gay person I witnessed a situation once outside a gay club around New Year Day, and people had spilled throughout the street from various clubs, and the cars had to slow down and hoot people out of the road.

Just then this car with a guy and two young ladies in the back slowly drives through the revelers, and he grabbed someone's shirt through the car window and starts shouting: ""You faggots, get out of the effin street!" He shouted some other threats in Afrikaans that I won't repeat, but he was threatening to gay bash everyone.

Next thing everybody descended on this car and blocked it from all sides, and people began rocking it.
I don't know what went into people, but they rocked that bloody car, until I thought they would flip it over.
The girls in the back were screaming and crying, and the guy seemed to be screaming: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."
Bouncers and some others were shouting for the crowd to stop.
Then the police arrived quite suddenly (thank God), and everybody backed off, with some shouts of f-off and other cursing.

It was such a strange feeling to witness this, because gays were always supposed to be timid and weak.
But I think when people come from a diaspora where they are bullied every day as individuals, and they suddenly have a turf and strength in numbers, then you better tread carefully.

Maybe that's just a bit of the sentiment in that clip, but I thought I'd share it.
It was bizarre watching it from the balcony, because when the straight guy first yelled "faggots" I also felt very enraged, but when the ladies started crying it just broke my heart. I also wanted to apologize to them and say: "We're not all like that".

I suppose one shouldn't expect a group of people that are barely tolerated elsewhere to suddenly welcome everyone with open arms!
You can't film in most Amish areas - they don't want to be filmed.
You can't film in some SA black areas, unless you first get permission from a chief.
They will chase you away too, but if you first approach a leader and show respect, then they are the most friendly people.

Bruno visits a Hasidim neighborhood in Israel, and also gets a nasty reception.
It's almost as if when a movie-maker needs a dramatic chase scene, he knows just where he's going to get it!
Why hire extras for a remake of The Passion?
Just make the actor drag his cross through this neighborhood!

You said that, not me. I don't think Israel is bad because of this, I think orthodox jews is baaaad because of this.
I think I wrote that in the first place, saying this is extremist behaviour, and this should be shut down. Wouldn't you agree that this kind of behaviour, along with other extremist behaviour should be shut down, if we are to live side by side?

I know other people in other countries show extreme behaviour, but this thread was about the specific situation in the video. Not to bash Israel, not to bash people for having needs to live among their peers with mutual interests, but this is extreme, that is why I wanted to discuss it.

I can sense your very open attempt to condescend me with your comments. These riots in the UK is not very comparable to the video in question. There is no relation at all, besides the attack of journalists. The jews in the video don't strike me as broke, un-employed youths who can't find their way in a goal-less society. Nor does the journalist in the video bear any resemblance to the cops and politicians of the UK.

I wrote very politely that I wanted to discuss this video with my peers. You didn't get that message, I guess, because the only thing you have done is point out things that I already can "fathom". I am surprised you didn't even give me your own opinion of this video, but I guess that is implied.

Sacha Baron Cohen is Jewish himself too!

But yeah, this is just another side effect of religion. As stated, it happens anywhere you find a holy book.

I bet a few ambushes happened between Christians in Northern Ireland as well.

Hi Joe

Interesting post - unfortunately there is an imbedded race-hatred which is endemic to the xenophobic, racist, sexist, elitist religious-Zionist Weltanschaung of the (supposedly ancient) 'Torah-of Mosheh' which certain right wing wackos consider to be the 'word of god' whatever that means -

The racist contents of the supposedly 'holy' Torah of 'Mosheh' (whoever he was) is unfortunately at the bottom of all this anti-gentile (xenophobic) hatred in so many texts (e.g. the Talmud) within Judaism - being the absolute CORE of even today's modern Rabinnic Judaeism no matter how you slice it...although only the so-called Chasidim orthodox live by its vile, racist-xenophobic contents to any extent (thankfully, these fundamentalist goyim hating freaks are only a minority within Judaeism !).

Here is a very very very disturbing ATS Discussion about the endemic xenophobic, sexist race-hatred imbedded in the so-called 'holy Torah' - which is generally suppressed from any intelligent discussion uin the media by persons who style themselves 'orthodox Jews' today - close reading of its vile language makes Adlolf Hitler's egregious Mein Kampf of 1923 look like a walk in the park...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

One day (hopefully soon !) to-day's modern 'Jews' (and their mindless xenophobic zionist sheep known as 'Christians') will have to burn their torah scrolls once and for all - it has no place in the 21st century and its ever shrinking world of 'tolerance of the Other' which is absolutely anathema to all those mindless persons who style themselves as 'orthodox' (or that reactionary band calling themselevs 'Chadiddic') Jews, who are less than 0.001% of the world's total population today - but seem to get a lot of press in the west - for some reason (could certain key ($$) people in e.g. New York City be at the heart of all their anti Gentile propaganda in the west?)

I think also that many communities have had bad experiences with docu-film makers.
What they do is often exploitative.
Some doccies make as much money as Hollywood films, and it costs little more than some courage and arrogance.
And what do the people they film get?
What do their "stars" get?
And very often those people are edited and misrepresented.
A lot of filmmakers have exploited especially indigenous people, and politically charged situations.
Many of them do need a good kicking!

You said that, not me. I don't think Israel is bad because of this, I think orthodox jews is baaaad because of this.

I might misread something, but your OP suggested to me that culture in Israel ,as seen in this video, will not allow living in harmony with other, clearly peaceful communities with different culture.
Given the title and the language of the source it ,well, gives the wrong - or right - feeling.

I know other people in other countries show extreme behaviour, but this thread was about the specific situation in the video. Not to bash Israel, not to bash people for having needs to live among their peers with mutual interests, but this is extreme, that is why I wanted to discuss it.

You certainly have the right to question everything and everyone. Despite the fact that you clearly notice that extreme behavior is shown by other people in other countries too. Simply you want to discuss THIS case of extreme behavior for your own reasons. And again, this is fine. Everyone have his/hers own reasons and notices what he wants to notice.
So you notice curses, rude behavior to foreign journalist and physical violence. Which you correctly call extreme.
But

These riots in the UK is not very comparable to the video in question. There is no relation at all, besides the attack of journalists. The jews in the video don't strike me as broke, un-employed youths who can't find their way in a goal-less society. Nor does the journalist in the video bare any resemblance to the cops and politicians of the UK.

Multiple cases of curses, rude behavior to journalists (foreign and not) and physical violence plus robbing is not comparable?
Haredim (fundamentalistic religious Jews) are poorest and most unemployed segment of Israeli society. Majority do not want/cannot integrate into Israeli society and there are tensions and violent demonstrations (not as violent as in UK gladly) almost every month. Local media does not go there. In this video you can see that it was all right until he probably got near one of problematic yeshivas because lots of youth started to come out. And things started to get extreme. Clearly unlike UK youth attacking journalists. Sorry, "cops and politicians".

I wrote very politely that I wanted to discuss this video with my peers. You didn't get that message, I guess, because the only thing you have done is point out things that I already can "fathom". I am surprised you didn't even give me your own opinion of this video, but I guess that is implied.

You want my opinion? There are fundamentalistic Jewish bigots in this video. Few dozens. Glad that police was there. Bad things, sadly, happen in Jerusalem too. Not only in the West.
And this is used by soul twins of Jerusalem bigots to further hate in the world and interfere with harmony between communities even further by concentrating specifically on this extreme case and framing it in garbage like Talmudic district,Israel religious freak show, Jerusalem heart of Christianity but Judaism overrun the city and preaches hate.
This is your source words, OP. How they are better then what is said by Jewish extremists?

Well I found it interesting. I acknowledge all the points made in this discussion, but for me it's an eye-opener, in that I didn't know about this religious sect. I did notice that the police were on the ball and remained calm, thank goodness. Upon reflection, the doc maker must have known his presence would be provocative and would get the reaction he did. But I thank him for it nonetheless.

Once upon a time I saw the world as wonderful and open, welcoming to strangers. Not any more. I've lost my desire to travel to other lands. Too many people are fleeing their homelands nowadays. The world is sick and very unkind.

We need videos like this to sober us to the intolerance displayed by various religious groups towards those who are not like themselves.
