Can you concede that perhaps critical thinkers tire of repeating the same facts continuously ad infinitum?

Several pics in that book are of the Acambaro figures and the Ica stones, both well-documented hoaxes.
The stegosaur has been explained to death as well.

Some guy gathers up useless and bogus crapola, puts it in a PDF by "Anonymous," calls it a book, and suddenly it's legitimate again?

Hardly. And hardly worth comment.

Thanks for the links concerning the suspected hoaxes. Though they aren't exactly "well-documented hoaxes" as you put it. The Wikipedia entry for the Acambaro figures is good reasoning for the possibility of a hoax, and I think it's likely that these ones are are hoax. The other link for Ica stones says at least some are hoaxes, which is what we already know and what it says in the book.

So we have 2 possible hoaxes in the whole book, which are also the most dubious from looking at them anyway.

The stegosaurus has been debated to death, by people who have never seen it, and no satisfactory conclusion has been reaching... meanwhile the carving is still there for all to see and it doesn't change no matter how much you talk about it.

The rest of the photos (including the stegosaurus) are more convincing, and labeling them as "useless and bogus crapola" does not make them any more of less real than what they are.

Saying this, I do welcome all debunkers to debunk away. There is also a forum on that site which the author frequents, so I recommend debunkers to post your debunkings there and maybe the book will be updated.

I think it is safe to say that if man and dino had co-existed, there would certainly be more than fossils to go by, over that short of a period there would be bones, hair/feathers (if they did indeed have them) maybe even muscle tissue.

But no, as of yet all we have found is fossils, which means millions of years, not thousands.

This.
I wasn't even gonna bother replying because its obvious this joker didn't even really look at all the pictures before scrambling to post for the debunkmobile.

I swear its like some of these people get a hard-on from debunking. ATS is like porn for debunkers. You can't even finish typing before they're trying to tell you how wrong and stupid you are for trying to approaching a subject with an open mind.

There's absolutely NOTHING that says some dinos couldn't have survived in isolated pockets of the world. Nothing at all. Arrogant wads like Harte pretend as if man has scoured every square inch of the earth at every depth and concluded that every single dinosaur died in the same period without a doubt. That's an incredibly stupid frame of mind to have on something we so obviously don't have all of the answers on.

The bombardier beetle can breathe fire out of it's arse so I would not totally discount a reptile being able to do the same thing out of it's mouth.

I find some of this very sketchy,

Why haven't we found fossils that date back much later than the rest?

Those people with the elongated skulls: As a child their heads are bound very tightly with fabric or what ever and then the skull has to grow in the only space provided, up and out. It's like the square watermelons.

I'm pretty sure the horned skull is a hoax.

Dino's existing alongside people, the reptiles wouldn't have lasted the ice age. If they did we'd be alot lower on the food chain. Those raptors are sneaky basterds.

edit on 14-8-2011 by Chukkles because: So I wrote partors instead of Raptors, big deal.

A free ebook suddenly appears that claims the following:

The revealing of the Stone is the catalyst which will collapse the corrupt civilization and usher in the Golden Age. But civilization must reach a truly corrupt state before it can be collapsed and reborn from the ashes. Corruption is necessary for the development of civilization as a whole; it's not a bad thing if you look at the big picture, but a necessary stage of development. The same holds true in the development our Stone.

Sorry, looks like the Golden Age has been cancelled. I've no intentions of becoming corrupt, so looks like I've just put a spanner in the works.

I think the author has been reading too much Harry Potter. Typical elitism bollocks.

According to the text accompanying those images, head binding does not change the size of the skull, only the shape; whereas these skulls are a vastly different size, which isn't possible to achieve with head binding.

Also the text mentions that a mummified fetus was found with the same head shape, thus proving (assuming it was really found) that it couldn't have been from head binding.

Where's your factual 100% proof that current dating tech is off by a few billion years..? Or is it just all about faith in a primitive bood written by stone age savages..lol

Explain to me this.. How dose christianity explane the light arriving from galaxies over 2 billion lightyears away..?

Are they actually only 5,000 light years away.. ? if that is the case, we got a big, problem, cause galaxies that close together are gunna pull each other into each other and tear each other apart..lol

There is no science behind creationism, don't start a debate here... :/

It is possible for God to create the light beaming from distant galaxies at the same instant that he creates said galaxies.

God is the author of science, not the product.

You do realise that the book of Job predates all the other books in the Bible, it is speaking about a time which is written before the Old Testament, not sure when but maybe older than Moses time.

They say the dinosaurs died at Noah's flood, they all got swept away and buried by the flood in layers. This explains the great valleys in America and sand deposits of the same kind thousands of miles away from each other. High pressure from water and sand and stone causes compression of animal and vegetation so the process of oil happened far more quickly than the millions of they predict, you can make your own oil by compressing the right stuff at home for an experiment which only takes a few months to stagnate the minerals out of organic life.

Dont want to disapoint you

or how about this

One deliberate the other unfortunate.

Not alien skulls cosmetic and a medical condition!

You see if you look at books like that they will try to push or sell the book but using blatent lies look at a picture then look for others like it and read from there as well.

All of the pictures on that site have been gone over or similar pictures with the same claims.

If that BS story in the bible was true then what happened to all the humans that died none of them with dinosaur skeletons.

Well except it doesn't it sprays out 2 chemicals that react with each other to cause a small bang that stuns the other creatures after the beetle.

A bombardier beetle produces and stores two reactant chemical compounds, hydroquinone and hydrogen peroxide, in separate reservoirs in the rear tip of its abdomen. When threatened, the beetle contracts muscles that force the two reactants through valved tubes into a mixing chamber containing water and a mixture of catalytic enzymes. When combined, the reactants undergo a violent exothermic chemical reaction, raising the temperature to near the boiling point of water. The corresponding pressure buildup forces the entrance valves from the reactant storage chambers to close, thus protecting the beetle's internal organs. The boiling, foul-smelling liquid partially becomes a gas (flash evaporation) and is expelled through an outlet valve into the atmosphere with a loud popping sound. The flow of reactants into the reaction chamber and subsequent ejection to the atmosphere occurs cyclically at a rate of about 500 times per second and with the total pulsation period lasting for only a fraction of a second.

Heard of the Nephilim they were giants, there was no humans left to save that was worth saving because they were genetically corrupted, maybe the dinosaus like I have made in a previous post could have been hybrid experiments or purposely accelerated and did not fit onto God's original plans.

Secondly they have found giant human footprints next to normal human footprints, if people want to look that up and then add the Jupiter Temple in lebonon where the cut stones are too heavy even for today to be lifted up by machines. The clues are there and the Bible helps bring the picture together.

Spot on you are. Also there's not a single cave painting of a dinosaur.

Why is it that when people who practice critical thought and spot obvious flaws in some observation or other we're slammed for being debunkers. Is it prefered that any kind of fantasy go unchallenged ? Is it better that the earth should have remained flat or that the universe should have been left to orbit our planet?

The fact is that humans aren't stupid by nature but are made so by being conditioned to not ask or question. The fact is that early man could see these bones and noted the similarity to reptiles they did know and therefor were able to imagine a giant lizard type animal. We humans are the only animal on the planet that can do that. They were able to imagine that they were big dangerous reptiles. Hence the term Dinosaur which actually means terrible lizard. They weren't around at the same time as the dinosaur but were able to imagine what they might have looked like. It's really not hard to understand that if you're in the habbit of critical thought

This is a lot of fun. The jet pack Aztec made me giggle. It's weird how I originally, in my youth, didn't give the images of the elongated heads a second thought. I thought they were just stylized representations.

Thanks for the stimulation.
