You reminded me...
I need to get me a new gear belt...
My old one seems to have shrunk a little...
... comes with getting old and fat

But I think rather than buy another black web belt I'll get me a nice leather "Ranger" belt...
Cheaper than dirt has them for a pretty good price...

Great thread as always Semper. I've fondled a hawg before and it's like holding a brick for me (I've got small paws) it's a great concept though and has the most firepower in a subcompact package on the market. I'm a .45 guy but my carry gun is a G23 and I don't feel "outgunned" with "just" a .40, it was my issue gun years ago and I've got too much muscle memory and range time into it to change , its part of me @ this point and running it is reflexive. My favorite pistol is my Beretta PX4 .45, but it has a safety and the last thing I need after carrying my point and click glock for so long is to fumble with it , in a surprise situation my body still thinks it's wearing a glock.

I'm a 1911 fan all the way, but I have retired all my .45's in favor of .38 super after watching a 185 grain silvertip bounce off a car door at 25 yards. Look up the ballistics on good old .38 super. Pretty impressive. One of Colt's orginal read something like "will bust an engine block" and I have no doubt it would - especially on one of the newer aluminum blocks. I now tote a Colt Custom shop lightweight commander in Super.

As a side note: I always carried that nighthawg in a hip paddle holster. Since I ditched it, I've yet to find a comfortable carry for any of my other sidearms: sig p229, Glock 30, HK P2000.

I detest ITB holsters.. the only thing I can stomach (joke intended) is a wrap-around torso belt, but you don't wan to have to draw from that...

ITB is what I've gone with and the wife loves it because I have to lose weight... evil demoness.

I really want a good OTB leather carry holster. suggestions?

I prefer to see guns as Bitches, that's why they have female names.

Hey yo..don't do that or i'll bitch-slap your *ss.

Of course that's just politically incorrect me.

Now that you've mentioned that you have a collection (or harem) lets see your bitching boomsticks.

Trying to look for places in the U.S. that has sulfur, I know there's more than what wiki says, there's a mine in Missouri as well

en.wikipedia.org...:Sulfur_mines_in_the_United_States
This is what wiki says about sulfur mines in the U.S.

The Sulphur Bank Mine is located near Clearlake Oaks and Clear Lake in Lake County, California. The 150-acre (0.61 km2) mine became one of the most noted mercury producers in the world.[1] During the 150 years since the Sulphur Bank was discovered, the area has drawn geologists, inspired unique scientific theories, established constitutional case law and now attracts environmental scientists who study the impact of mercury contamination within the Cache Creek watershed of northern California and the Sacramento River-Delta Region and San Francisco Bay.

I can only find a few links when googling salt peter mines in the U.S. two of them being in Arkansas, and a cave in Tennessee.

I also read most of the salt peter in the U.S. is mined in California

Of course charcoal is where you want to make it.
