I, like so many others in this country would view the presence of foreign soldiers on American soil acting in any military role as an military invasion .

The fact is , Americans cannot be pacified with conventional military force if they are armed with 200 million small arms.

You're spot on when you mention this UN scenario, Yugoslavia is an example of how the UN destroys a nation. Let them come and watch them get planted by the hundreds of thousands, the guerrilla warfare will go on for perhaps centuries before this nation can actually be subdued. The difference between Yugoslavians and Americans is that Americans have been cornfed war from birth and are basically comfortable with killing anyone that even appears to be threatening AMERICA, or them. There are millions of people in this country who are preparing for just such a scenario, I am sure the number who are chomping at the bit to put some lead downrange at anything that even appears UN of New world order..

That's only 15 metro areas... Let's see...400 divided by 15 equals...about 26 troops

26 troops to patrol over 130,000 in Raleigh alone...about 1.2 million in the greater RDU metro area

I can see 26 troops patroling the streets of Smithfield-Selma... the good ol' boys in Johnston County would have an easy time of them... and the Sheriff down there would be all over them... Sheriff bizzell is a Constitutional populist kind of guy... good luck to the troops.

Even if all 400 were in the RDU area... they would be dead men walking

Back in the 1990s when Clinton was going to "take our guns away"...down in Franklin County I have a friend...he ran a pawn shop... that pawn shop alone sold several thousand SKS Chinese rifles...just down in Louisburg.
