Lyrics in the title and OP are from a band that reminds me of finally completing my basic training AIT and Airborne training and getting my first assignment at Fort Bragg in 1989.. It was great to be done with all of the training and having some freedom to kick back and check out what was new on the music scene.. Well one of the first new bands that I heard was a band called Warrant, who had a hit on the local stations called "Down Boys" .. it's funny how certain songs can take you back in time, remind you of certain things (I have a horrible memory, but music somehow triggers events for me). I was saddened to see that the lead vocalist of the band passed away yesterday, the circumstances aren't really important to me, it's just a shame. That's why I chose one of their tunes for tonites thread and offer my condolences to Jani Lane's family and friends.
