Am i the only one that finds it a little strange that the goverments have diverted our attention away from Osama Bin Lid and seem to have forgotten
that he is probably the most wanted man in the world yet there seems to be no actions lately to detain him. Do they honestly think they can make us
believe that the greatest intelligence in the world cannot find one man who the whole world knows his face. I think the american goverment is hiding
some huge secret and believe it may lead to the Golden Crest operation of drug smuggling or the fact that Osama and his posse where recruited by the
usa in the cold war to fight the russians. Whatever the reasons no one seems to care where he is. I believe he is probably head gardener at camp David
Pruning george bushes roses Somethin is not quite right though.

I think that the army still is looking for him. It's just not talked about. maybe they are trying to give him a false sense of security in order to
get him to slip up.

Well im a ex army intelligence and ex infantary soldier and i know full well that they would not continue to look for him for this long without some
serious results it just cant happen my friend. Between the usa and the british we have the most intelligent and sophisticated intelligence in the
world yet we cant find one man. We find saddam after 4 weeks hiding in a hole yet we cant find Osama after 2 years and he's been parading himself
over the T.V. i think there is somethin not quite right.

The images you see of Osama on the tube are from 2000 to 2001 at the very latest.
He has not been seen since.

or the fact that Osama and his posse where recruited by the usa in the cold war to fight the russians.
This is no secret...at the time, the enemy of our enemy was our friend. Just as most of the Taliban are former Mujahadeen...
You're right though...they would have results by now. I for one, think they have found him....and likely months and months ago. I think that US
forces have him basically contained and his whereabouts are known, and that this is in the border region between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The forces
doing the containment likely just believe they are staving off a group of rebels, not realizing that other forces also close the gauntlet, and that
the ones they are containing, are Osama and his men. (but the commanders know, and are also promised nice promotions by the Commander in Chief for
doing so).
This'll likely be a fairly last minute ploy to reveal the capture of Osama, if the polls go too close near election day...to ensure a Bush
victory....

Yep, he's either captured or dead. If dead, then we're simply saving the body for the right political timing.

Saint,
I am an ex intell analyst who provided the information to army, af, navy intel types. It is possible that he is still hiding. He might
have departed this earth already. I agree it sounds a little fishy, but I have seen more. It is common knowledge that the US funded Osama in his
fight against the Russians. I guess we did not pay him well enough.

Osama shaved off his beard, doned an Armoni suit and is hanging out in Southern California.
Bus seriously, I totaly agree with you that it is so incredibly irrisponcible for the government to have switched focus right in the middle of
invading Afganistan.

My guess is that they will announce his capture just before the elections, and this will sway some undecideds torward the Bush side.
Mark my words!

You're probably right on. I think we may have wisened up from the last time. Instead of having CNN give our location away every time we get close,
we probably stopped allowing the news to report every little detail. Heck, I knew more about what was happening just sitting in my living room than
half of the actual men and women serving in Afganistan. You don't think Bin Laden gets cable?

my guess? U.B.L. is in --- Antofagasta,Chile --- South America....
if Eric Rudolf could hide for five years in the mountains of North Carolina with nothing but the clothes on his back...im sure U.B.L. (who has massive
resources) can hide longer

I agree, he shaved his head and is now in a Buddhist temple.
I believe he is death I have been saying this for a long time, for some reason the government likes to keep his memory alive.
Bin ladden was just the link to invading Iraq that's how I see it.

That would be ironic, a militant religious zellot extreemest.. hiding in the temple of a religion who's focus is balance, harmony and acceptance.

i must admit that the idea of keeping him away awaiting the right political moment is a very plausible idea. i suppose we will see any evidence of
this with the elections due.

The US had plenty of chance to kill or capture him, but for political reasons they let him go. How could they do that?!

I dont think they let him go i think a few people above made a good point about the authorities keeping him to one side awaiting a political reason
for exposing him. Obviously the elections are a good excuse however i also think they dont really know who could be planning the next attack as both
we and the usa have made so many enemys in the past 4 years that maybe they are just waiting to stick osama in the spotlight after the next attack as
if to say " it was him and we got him, look how good we are, you have no need to be afraid anymore" However what happens after that is anyones
guess. I would love to have the chance to ask bush or blair to their face, "why have you stopped the chase for Osama Bin Laden he supposedly killed
loads of americans didnt he, or did he".

Because they need him to futher the grand plan. Without Osama thay cannot put so much fear into the system, without Osama they can't play on the
threat and introduce things you wouldn't normally accept.
He is still useful for them.

exactly thats what im saying they need to place him in the spotlight for future events and i think you hit the nail on the head with the word "Grand
plan" as it looks as if that is what it is all about. How come the goverment think we the public are so stupid not to notice or are the general
public too stupid to notice and obviously like minded people like ourselves are the only people to have considered the true possibilities.

Greatest intelligence? You're referring to George Bush, right?
Isn't Mr. Laden on kidney dialysis, and wouldn't that seriously improve chances of flushing him out?
I reckon he's in the north bank at Highbury, every saturday, 3pm.
