Because of the ineptitude of Rumsfeld and his goons, in the way they've handled everything from top to bottom, beginning till now, al-Sadr is already a force to be reckoned with. At least al-Sistani is back. He's the star of the show, not Allawi.

The thing is, for all we know, the two of them are playing good cop bad cop, and Sistani is now the 'good guy.' Together they can further their goals. Politics and plans and are not alien whatsoever to Arabs.

Give Iraq a chance to be free and let the people of Iraq decide there future. You cannot deny that a free country is a better country.

Iraqis should have the right to govern themselves as they wish. Ask them if they want our military occupation and "help" forming a government. They'd answer with a resounding NO. 80% of them - at least - want us out immediately. Where is the democracy?
