Is it just me or do Dj's who are producing, have radio play and daily bookings not allowed to be on Dj rating sheets.

My reason is that these people are no longer Underground and there are many Dj's who are equally talentd but cannot get play or bookings. I feel as though DJ's like Tiesto (although I love him) are taking away from our basic underground DJ's trying to make moves.

There should be a different category for them after a certain point in success. It's like Middle school and High school, its all school but at different levels with different goals to meet.

THEN you have Hip Hop and Pop stars doing remixes with DJ's and Producers like above and they further dominate the charts when there are talented Artists who origianlly sing or produce Electronica and cannot even get their demos listened to.

Let me know if this sounds right. May not type out as well as Im thinking it.

It should be Underground vs Mainstream vs Popular

NOFX is popular but isnt mainstream, gotta keep em seperated =]

i really love NOfx- well a couple of songs-

I think thereshould be some sort of dj rating system- like the one you said.

I listen to more underground drum n bass than commercial- sometimes underground stuff is alot better.

Please let me know if i have gone completly off topic lol

Its kind of like you got your street basketball, which is getting more and more endorsement deals these days and your NBA. Both have a lot of clout to different communities however, one is underground and the other is mainstream.
