It just boils down to people. There are cat people, dog people, and people people.
I personally am a cat person, not that I don't love dogs. My problem with dogs is that they tend to last about a decade, and when they spring this mortal coil, they take a chunk of your soul with them. I can't even mention my last dogs name without tears welling up.
He was born on the fourth of july and passed on 4-20 two years ago. 9 awesome years.
Cats on the other hand, they are just here to be here. Their sfw attitude helps me through the rough times. They inspire me to care a little less and just go with it.

I know a lot of cat people, and in my experience they tend to be a bit more relaxed than dog people.

People people are just usually a bother, but brighten my day in their way.

(Sorry about going off about my dog, I just miss him.)

My watch cat is far better than any watch dog. She has been know to attack people when she senses they make me feel uncomfortable in my home. Mean Kitty has nothing on her. Most dogs I know will warm up to just about anyone if they are petted or given a treat. My cat has only warmed up to one or two individuals outside of the family in her 7 years. She knew I could trust them well before I knew.

Yes, I did get it backwards.

Love them both + most any animals but have more of an attachment to wolves.

Plus am living among those allergic to cats
