The Pakastani goverment has released a list of 'most wanted terrorists'. A reward of ($340,000) 20m rupees each have been placed on the heads of Abu Faraj al-Libbi and Amjad Hussain, the two men suspected of being the main planners of two assassination attempts last December. Other rewards are being issued for the information leading to the capture of 4 other Al Qaeda terrorists.
Amjad Hussain, alias Amjad Farooqi, has also been indicted for the kidnapping and killing of US journalist Daniel Pearl in January 2002.

The BBC's Zaffar Abbas in Islamabad says the other four are said to be members of two banned Islamic extremist groups that have close links with al-Qaeda.

He says it seems that all of the suspected militants are wanted for bomb explosions and other crimes committed within Pakistan rather than outside the country.

A very bold move for Pakistan anyway...

I think the heat will be on the country now to realise that they too are vunerable in this war and that they need to start to deal with the trouble ASAP.

Hopefully legitimate information will come through very soon and they can begin to investigate the locations of the 6 men in question.
