I read the MailOnline article and really do understand what the lady is struggling to explain. However, just teaching kids a few Bible stories is hardly going to change anything. It was okay in the 13th Century, but is very unlikely to work in this 21st Century.

When rich people embark on an orgy of violence they call it patriotism.

When poor people embark on an orgy of violence they call it criminal behaviour.

If it is okay for the government to support the thugs in Bengazi then why is it that that very same government do not support the thugs in London ? Obviously the government are behaving rather hypocritically. The kids who see the government supporting the terrorists in Bengazi are probably at a loss to understand why that same government is not supporting the terrorists in London ? Will the French deliver weapons to assist the young protesters in London like as they did deliver weapons to assist the young protesters in Bengazi ? Obviously governments need to start practicing what they preach. Leading by example.

The law that I live by and which is holding us all bonded is called PRAECEPTAE CAELENIUM (tm). I did not read it in a book. You will not find it in any book. It was revealed to me by audio clairvoyance during the celebrations of the New Millennium in 2000. Summed up it basically means no sex and no drugs and no violence. (1) From eternity to eternity, infinity to infinity, there be the One Absolute. The One True God there be no other God. Her names are many but she be the one true God. The one judge there be no other judge. (2) La Deus Nostra, Notre Dame, Our Lady, The Holy Spirit, the cause the maker Cosmica. (3) Angelic [celestial immortal] powers of truth and beauty and righteousness be sure to be loving Her Holiness Above with all your mind and with all your heart and with all your strength. (4) So as to be pleasing to Her Holiness Above therefore do not be serving the masculine. (5) Do not be and do not allow masculinity into positions of government. (6) Honour and respect the virgin pureness of the christae. (7) Honour and respect the Immaculate Conception [parthenogenesis] reproductive process of the christae. (8) Do not fornicate or adulterate or sodomize. (9) Do not bully or torture or murder. (10) Do not lie. (11) Do not steal. (12) Do not be covetous. (13) Do not be jealous. Copyright (c) NGL 2000.

He who trusts in violence to be his security cannot speak that he trusts in God to be his security.

I am NOT shocked that a journalist for such as newspaper would present such arrogance in what appears to be a very wet, emotional rant; however, I thought I’d share what I find detestable about her approach to journalism, and politics.

Firstly, there’s nothing abhorrent about boycotting cultural Marxism but it's not just coming from the "left" or the "liberals" - Which Melanie Phillips cunningly fails to mention.

I consider myself a liberal, but I oppose “ultra-feminist” movements, and believe we need more of a sense of community in Britain, I also yearn for tighter immigration policies; I don’t think the left/right polarity is so clear cut in modern politics.

The author made some stunningly broad implications in the article; she fails to source any “liberal intelligentsia” – So what the article turns into is an excuse to voice her political positions, her personal preferences; and an excuse to demonise the perceived “others” (Who don’t think like her – i.e. the- monogamous and non-homophobic

-A moral collapse of Britain (or our youth)

She simply alludes to the fact drugs/sex education has lead to a moral collapse and conveniently misses out (either by intention or ignorance) all other possible causes:-

-Teaching methods (Sex/Drug Ed.)

When does the teacher ever say "Heroine? - you decide kids."

It seems in Melanie Phillip’s British utopia, teachers would have a more authoritarian approach; teaching children what they should think rather than teaching the dangers/social implications. “Don’t think for yourself, we have the answers”

-"sexual free-for-all of ‘lifestyle choice’

Nonsense - paper thrives on reporting on sex; what do a number of aspiring youths look up to; this religious cult of football (or celebrities in general), and the paper's lick their lips at a good sex scandal, MONEY, NOT MORALS. Again, kids look up to these "demi-gods"

The article conveniently misses out all of the possible causes for the perceived “moral collapse” of Britain’s youth, forgetting the council estate culture that is behind these areas of Britain, and what has caused these massive wealth gaps and social divides.

Seems this lady is using the mailonline as a pulpit for her personal preferences; marriage, punishment, welfare etc. etc.

I just thought share my initial take on the article; to me it seems to be filled with emotional bias; and is just incessant moaning and needless finger-pointing. – Poor journalism.

Her book looks awful too

She makes some valid points, even if this article was a little incoherent.

New Labour tore the moral heart from this nation.

That cretin, Tony Blair, should hang for treason.

"Violent Anarchy"?? Hilarious! This was the antithesis of anarchy really... looting, wanton destruction of working peoples homes and businesses, and beating innocent people up on the street has zip to do with 'anarchy'. I'm amazed the UK media is still trying to peddle 19th century stereotypes and propaganda in the 21st century. The whole recent riots were quite pathetic and senseless - and far from anything remotely 'political' in nature..
