I would be so tempted to go outside if I were you but it's prob not a good idea.
Amniables still freaking out?
with earthquakes they often sense stuff hours before they hit.
could be somethin more mundane like coyotes or feral dogs, use a torch and look for eyeshine.
Just don't freak out, it won't help.

Seriously?
probably an earth tremor of some kind or a native predator. The animals both at kat's house and in the neighborhood are showing classic signs of concern for something loud and/or earthshaking.

I don't wanna start with the E.T theories.

I was going to go outside, but it's still pretty dark and it's pretty much a wooded area...every dog around here is barking like mad....I hope it's just a wild animal....I'm getting spooked

I don't know for sure. The animals around here are usually quiet. It's odd because my indoor pets never act this way. I'll be back after I go out there to see....

Not positve, but I think in Silo's case it was like 13 hours (?) What happened here, was I got home from work at 2:30 am, and went straight to bed....(same routine as every night) Each of my pets has thier own little beds, which they settled into. The whole house quiet...and I fall asleep. Around 2:30, both cats come bounding onto the bed all frantic "meow meow meOWWWW" I tried to ignore, and they started biting my hair (pulling it)....and my dog starts howling hysterically.....the cats would jump from the bed to the floor over and over
