The first and only thing I think of when people post about strange behaviour with their pets is earthquake activity. Doesn't the Baton Rouge fault run all the way up (down?) to New Orleans?

That was one of the first things I thought of (and bad weather approaching) But they (the animals) are usually pretty chill even during lightning storms. I think there is a fault there and we had a small one (very unusual) last summer.

OK...........now my rooster is pecking the sliding glass door and crowing It's starting to creep me out a little. When the sun starts to come up, I'm going to go outside to take a look.

Not that I am aware of.....their attention seems to be on outside. pacing in the window sills, in front of the doors. Some of you know that I have a thread about the strange sounds recorded from the sky...maybe the animals can hear something like that....I'm sooo tired, but I think I'll go outside as soon as I can see well enough.

I do live out in the boonies right now. Plenty of wild animals out there. I saw a white tailed deer run through the yard yesterday afternoon.

Haaa Haaaa....I started to write something sarcastic like that, then erased it! There's a whole lot of frakin goin on! REALLY there is.
