It is the SAS teams that are smaller than that

In the aftermath of 9/11 SEAL Team Six and Delta had their numbers significantly increased the exact figure is classified but that is the ball park figure that is normally quoted.

Also SEAL Team Six is not technically part of the other SEAL’s you hear about. in total there are 9 SEAL Teams, 1-5 and 7-10, they are tire two special forces just like the Green Berets. SEAL Team Six is more correctly called the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWG) they are tire one and different from the other SEAL Teams. Within NSWG there are 4 colour coded squadrons that are broken down into teams and then further broken down into troops which are further broken down into other smaller teams.

Obama ordered the death of the Taliban because he knows that Obama provided the intel to kill the SEALs who were involved in the death of Osama. Cutting the last link. How else would they find and killed the killer of the SEALs?

It was just a portion of them.. the other delusional posters here, simply want to make a conspiracy out of nothing. They have stated several times "the members of seal team 6 that got Bin Laden, WERE NOT the members that died in this chopped crash" BUT, dream on little dreamers, keep finding a conspiracy in everything.. While your at it, can you uncover the secret conspiracy surrounding aperture and shutter speeds on Sony NEX-3 cameras... Mine is giving me troubles.

I am sure that happy little Taliban ran back screaming at the top of his lungs "I killed seal team 6" I am 100% positive, 75% of Afghanistan had heard this mans name within hours of the downed chopper. I am willing to bet our ears on the ground had a location for his dirt squirrel butt shortly after... BUT, I also know that you will throw logic to the wayside, just to saddle up on your little story about Govt. officials ordering the killing of everyone.. What fun is there in truth, when you can make up your own truth?

My only problem is if they could use an air strike to pinpoint target the rats responsible.
Should they not have done that in the first place?
Or are we risking good men to capture when we should be killing?

Without knowing the mission objectives it is hard to say.

They were called in to save some of our boys from a firefight they were losing. These were the super hero's coming to save the day... Seems it ended in a different way.

And this is supposed to be good news, right? how about the thousands of our soldiers that have died before the last incident in Afghanistan and Iraq, how about the tens of thousands civilians caught in America version of self righteousness in the middle east.

I guess I should just shut my mouth and be a good patriot, take the news and wave my littler American flag and say "hallelujah" while drinking my koo laid.

What a joke.

Yes but as i understand the Rangers were after Taliban leaders.
Now were they trying to capture or kill?
Sometimes i think our troops still fight with one hand tied like in the Nam.
Why risk 30 men when a JDAM will do?
Oh well the world is full of arm chair Generals.
And i'm just one more.

War is war.
It is best to fight with all you have and end it quickly.
We (US) try to fight PC wars and draw them out into a cluster you know what.
And please don't shot your mouth.
It makes a hell of a mess.

I'm glad they got
these scumbags.

Next person who should be taken out
is who ever gave the OK, GO AHEAD
allowing 30 or so special forces (especially SEAL TEAM SIX)
On one, big, slow, helicopter!!!

Who the hell is in charge..

Even the arm-chair generals are scratching
their heads over this one, they got enough sense
they would never let all them special forces on
one helicopter...

Then they should find whoever tipped the TALIBAN off
about the one helicopter carrying so maNy members of SEAL TEAM SIX.

Don't worry I will not shot my mouth just shut it.
You know I am so tired of the propaganda to make Americans be happy with the dirty corruption surrounding the two trillion wars we are fighting for the benefit of the private military complex.

It is just sickening.

And i agree 100 percent.
Our boys are too often sent to places they have no place being.
Fighting in a manner they have no way of fighting.
And NEVER given the chance to WIN!
They just draw it out over the years to reap the country of it's resources.
And our HEROES pay the price.
Fight and be done or don't go in the first place.

Maybe even of sent a spoof helicopter with the real one...

Or AN ATTACK chopper ahead of them
gunning out the way...

ONE BIG SLOW CHOPPER was sent into the middle of a firefight
and no one but me and one other person finds it strange>>/??

obl: gone
seal team 6:gone
taliban guy who shot them: gone

SEAL Team 6 is gone?
When the hell did that happen?

Something is fishy about the whole
situation...

The taliban was either tipped off by someone
on the inside...

Or whoever gave the command was nodding off on heroin
and needs to be brought to trial for the death of them..

Then they tell us the team that killed him have been killed.

Seriously, I never heard any such thing. Where are you guys getting this?
