Looks like the United States can now count themselves as cop-hating anarchists.

Kandahar provincial police chief Abdul Raziq said the victims were members of the Afghan Local Police (ALP), an anti-Taliban initiative in which local people are recruited to protect their own villages.

It was that attitude that took the US to Afghanistan in the first place.

You mean 9/11? Or are you just trying to make a crack at my incredible cynicism? If it's the latter I can only say: but it's the truth!

Oops, the title of this thread is wrong, it shouldn't read police brutality, it should read police-hatred. I guess I really screwed that one up.

I did mean 9/11, the breakdown in law and order has not gone away and just looks like it is getting worst as it remains unresolved and self centred corruption is promoted as acceptable behaviour.
