Now you're doing it! Far be it for me to forbid anyone anything, but people need to chill out...people have a right to be angry and to vent that anger..but why do it at other posters on here??? That is what I am saying. Picking holes at other peoples posts instead of getting on with the topic seems to be the 'in thing'. IMO. Jumping to the bait all the time. Blah blah. de blah.
Peace right back at ya
I do have experience, I also live in the UK and stuck right in the middle of 3 riot zones here, but I am going to go orf and pick less touchy subjects to post onedit on 11-8-2011 by CherryV because: (no reason given)edit on 11-8-2011 by CherryV because: (no reason given)

Like your post. It also reminded me of this excellent little video:
Unmask the thugs! Looters will no longer be able to cover up, says PM as he also promises cash for the rioters' victims AND a crackdown on social media
-Cameron says Army could be called in if riots are repeated
- Police are handed powers to unmask the wild rioters
- Inquiry under way into how to clamp down on social media
- There'll be talks with ex-US police chief about tackling gangs
-Cameron shrugs off Labour's plea for police cuts U-turn
- Prime Minister: 'This is a time for our country to pull together'
-Labour leader Ed Miliband calls for full, independent inquiry
- Miliband: 'Why do so many people feel they have nothing to lose?'

Like your post. It also reminded me of this excellent little video:
The video makes many factually incorrect claims.
The percentage of the population that begrudges the taxes they have to pay is small. Even smaller are the people who disagree with the existence of a government, even if they disagree with some of the items on which the tax revenue is spent.
Even those anarchists who pay taxes are not afraid merely of the IRS employees, they are afraid of the state machinery (including police, FBI, judges, prisons etc) that support the IRS and the Congress. I would estimate that the number of anarchists who consider taxes a "theft", but continue to pay them out of fear are an insignificant minority of the population.

Yeah yeah, vigilantism is bad, yadda yadda yadda. Personally, I feel this is the only way the UK will be able to get this under control. This is NOT a bad thing people! This is the People standing up for the People! This is the sense of brotherhood and community that is needed in the world. When bad people rear their ugly head, good people have to stand up and knock their ugly heads off with an aluminum bat!

Most people believe their taxes go to help the country...which is inaccurate. The majority of tax regenue goes to pay off the loans made to the country by the private banking cartel - in your case the Fed Res.
Are there any statistics to back up your claim that people are happy to pay taxes? I'd be interested in your source for that information.
But people do believe that are obliged by law to pay taxes, so they pay them...but in fact, it isn't true. However TPTB do not want the masses to know that.
