Dem's have pumped a ton of money into these elections. These numbers are great in favor of the GOP so far but for the GOP to still have a lead after being so heavily out-funded and attacked in the media is incredible.

So far it looks like a GOP sweep if you look at the updated #'s on JS online.

What an awesome use of millions of dollars! I am sure that the schools couldn't have used that money!

Right, I know.
After all of this, and once no one has been recalled, maybe we can get back to running our state.

Yeah, but those numbers don't mean much when in some cases less than 10% of the district in question has yet to report in.

Outside special interest groups (ie those who whore themselves to corporate America) have spent millions upon millions in these elections. Scummy right-wing / teabagger groups have sent out letters to democratic districts informing them of wrong dates and what have you. This needs to be remembered.

Lets not forget the Democrat's temper tantrum that caused them to flee town and not do their jobs when they knew they were going to lose a vote on an issue.

The district that the Pasch/ Darling race encompasses is a tricky one.
Part of it is The East Side, which probably goes at least 80% Dem, very artsy and lots of students.

The north side of that district encompasses a much more suburban area, leaning heavily Republican.
One precinct reporting could easily sway the vote by several percentage points.

P.S. Thanks for the help with the updates.

The boob tube is saying Republicans have won 2 seats so far. Dems have to win 3 to gain control of the senate, and then win both recall elections next week.

I'm putting my money on the Koch boys... Looks like freedoms a comin', I heard them Commies is fleeing town
to go to Kalifornia, so they can be lazy and punish people for being successful. Busy shinning the Ol
Lenin statue, hosing off the beach chairs, just waiting on the big order of diapers so we don't have to get up
or nothin.

Can wait till President Perry Nukes France, two years!
