I'm constantly amazed at the insight and enlightenment of John Lennon! If I was to guess he was at the top or end of his Karmic Wheel prior to becoming an "Ascended Master"

www.youtube.com...

Can't get it to embed, but worth the look! Mind Games...Lifting the Veil!

Guess we all should start smoking pot and dropping acid and the world would be very enlightened and we would all get along happily ever after.

Yup, I guess not, we must be the crazy ones.

Ever hear about a celebrity treating a normal person like crap?
Ever have a boss who keeps making more money while making you do more degrading jobs each week?
Ever hear of a president signing our rights away to protect the elite?

Ever see any of those people struck by lightning bolts?
Not me, I'm crazy.

Come on...you tried it...but you didn't inhale, right? Anyway, just because you don't agree with mind expanding drugs, you should not criticise of that which you have no knowledge.

Yea because he didn't do anything else or contribute anything else to the world besides smoking pot and dropping acid.

Example: Anybody not named john Lennon who smokes pot and drops acid.

Much like Amy Winehouse he used a lot of drugs and popularized it with the youth of the time.
Celebrities have a lot of influence and in that regard he used his power to harm a generation of fans.

I have done drugs, they make you an idiot. Kro is 100% correct.

Brian,

First of all, you must understand how Karma works. The next thing to address is you giving your power away to someone that is taking your rights away from you. I wrote this on another thread, AND I probably won't change your mind, but here are a couple of pointers and you can research if you like.

1. You are not a victim!
2. You have power!
3. Do not give your power away to anyone!

You are probably wondering...how does that help me in my immediate situation? Well, it doesn't. What will help you is to remember those things for future decisions!

Who is taking my rights away from me (besides the government) and how did you infer that from any of my posts?

It is, its one that I forfeit because I need work to support my family but if Karma has any legitimacy then he should become equal with me rather than continue to prosper because of my hard work.

Well what did he do other than smoke pot and drop acid and play music?

If i'm wrong and he's this great thinker I will gladly stand corrected. As far as I know he was a part of the hippie culture living his days in a drug-induced haze and claiming to be more popular than Jesus Christ causing mass beatle record burnings.

You're spot on. When a celebrity dies people tend to forget their flaws and talk them up like they were these incredible people. Recently we have seen this with Winehouse and Jackson.

Apparently no one realizes how for the people John Lennon was... Hello, he was FIGHTING CORRUPTION IN YOUR GOVERNMENT... He was fighting for the people against the government, and went through a lot of # while doing it, you should look up USA vs. john Lennon... Man, I wonder if someone of these arm chair geniuses could actually do something useful instead of spreading negativity around so much... What a bunch of buzz killingtons

That was one of the most ignorant responses I think I have ever read... Maybe you should look at the motto of this site, and then do a little research before you comment...

He was an ideologue of leftist beliefs. He was not fighting the government, he was Obama bashing Bush. He was not spreading peace but rather his own backwards beliefs.

I'm sorry but IMO Lennon was nothing more than a pop star. He was just repeating allot of ideas, that have been said for 100s of years.

Kro...he was a man before his time! Forget about the drugs....they mean nothing in the realm of things. Are you familiar with Terence McKenna? Another great thinker, philosopher from the "hippie era", but very insightful. There are so many videos, but I will look for a good one to embed.

Lennon was timeless and has a timeless message. His message still rings true in hearts today. Look past the drugs and understand his thoughts.
