Iran says U.S. 'will be taught the mother of all lessons'

www.wnd.com

Iran is planning to retaliate against the United States for the sabotage against its nuclear program, according to an editorial in the Kayhan newspaper, the mouthpiece of Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The U.S. has all of its infrastructure connected to the Internet, the editorial says, and as a result, "it is constantly worried about an unknown player, who they will never be able to identify ... sitting in some corner of the world who would launch an attack on a sector of (the Americans') foundations. They will be taught the mother of all lessons."

Specifically, Iran

Another day, another threat.

If the world were a person, it would have been instituionalized and rendered insane decades ago.

Since the nuclear bomb is "the mother of destruction," I imagine that they are frightening us by trying to imply they will set off some sort of a bomb.

Whether or not this is a credible threat, I do not know. I sincerely hope not.

But I'm hoping that the people charged with protecting us are already investigating this.

By the time this hit the media outlet that you found it on, I'm sure it was "old news" to our security agencies.

Most Americans are numb by now to the myriad of threats that come our way on a weekly basis.

We invented the computers your geeks are using to disrupt our economy.
We invented YOU.

Now, be nice and go home and play before we get angry.

LOL

It sums it all up very nicely.

And all we ordinary people can do, is hide and hope and pray the storm will pass without to much damage.

I think they are about to get 8 of their D.U.M.B.S. blown to dust by our new bunker busters.

This is just a cane and top hat shuffle.

Respectfully, I would tend to doubt it. Nobody would get away with such a thing at this point. Whatever you may believe the Iranians to be, they are not stupid.

More likely, IMO, they would be referring to a malicious virus of some sort. After all, stuxnet seems to be causing quite a bit of trouble for them, one would expect them to retaliate in kind. Goose, gander, and all that.

What a complete bastardisation of the truth. Iran is one of the oldest civilisations on Earth. The first Persian dynasty began around 2800 BCE. That's almost 5000 years of history.

Incidentally, "the mother of all lessons", metaphor is eerily similar to U.S. anti-Iraq propaganda of the early 90s.
Remember that?

Certainly not the first time he's said this. We still have yet to learn the "mother of all lessons," or see the "wrath of God," or be burned in "righteous flames." We should actually make a scrap book, this guy has some eloquent ways of telling us we are doomed.

I hope, for Iran's sake, we do not go to war with them. I'm not sure we would bother trying to occupy that region. God bless the Iranian people if their leadership is dumb enough to drag them into a full-scale conflict with our trigger-happy leadership. There would be very little infrastructure or people left.

I really wondering if the leaders in Iran realize that the Pentagon is loaded with generals who would love to level them.Give them more excuses you fools.

The Iranian president purposely wants to create a chaotic world so he can usher in the coming of the mahdi. Research this.

Too much one-sided debate concerning this issue to be even remotely realistic.
Sock-puppets, anyone?

Don't be swayed by the barrage of disinfo on the net.
The leader of Iran is not crazy. The people are respectable, well-educated and enjoy a decent standard of living.

U.S. foreign policy towards the nations it's planning on invading is to always paint the same picture: a bloodthirsty, corrupt tyrant oppresses the people and it's America's job to intervene on human rights issues.
Bull#. Bull#. Bull#. Don't believe the propoganda. You're smarter than that.

Ask yourself why America is involved with wars exclusively against Muslim countries.
Look into who runs the Federal Reserve; IMF; media; those whom are the political advisors to the President.
Answer: Ashkenazi Jews of the Zionist Occuption Government.
Investigate for yourselves to find the truth. Purge the government of Zionist control.

I do agree with what you say but…

Little love left in Iranian hearts for the Americans and of course their (elected government) after 32 years of horrendous sanctions and illegal embargos. We are actually in WAR.

Just because these people make these kinds of claims dosent mean they have any cpacity to carry them out. On many occasions they are most pitching these statements are their own demestic audience.
