Still hours to go before Markets officially open. But gold has officially crossed the $1700 mark.

Have to see what happens as the day goes on. Might cool off, but still $1700. Yikes.

I can't decide if I should stop at the store and buy a sack of rice and beans on the way home this morning. Were getting really close to actual doom.

i think since im in colorado i might as well give up on everything im doing and go into the rocks and hunt for some gold. 1700 an oz i think i can afford to quit my day job and dig for gold, oh wait i dont have a day job because the economy is crap. find 2 oz a month and i will be living good

I think it's not quite "go time".

Gold will need to be around $4-5000 before there's any major unrest in the US simply due to the fact that people will just put more on credit until even credit cards will not give more then $50.

Thank god i have alot of gold and silver. haha.
