Endless Scrolling...but in a good way!

Has anyone on the Board thought of instituting an "endless scrolling" feature for the different posts; something such as Tumblr uses? This would speed up the reading of and response to threads here on ATS. I don't see this as being lazy, but as simply utilizing the technology that we already have, in making our site as immediate and effective as possible. It's just a thought, but I wondered how others might feel about such an advance? It would be a drastic site overhaul though, so I could understandably expect it to take a good while to effect. Feedback, anyone?

is that when you scroll to the bottom and it autoloads more comments?

that might be good in tricking people into reading a whole thread

they're more likely to read it if they're all into it and don't know its 20 or 50 pages

(I personally hate that feature on most sites, but I could dig it here!)

Exactly, and I agree that on some other sites it can be a pain, but here, it could really help the dynamics of this site. You need so much time to wade through lengthy threads- page, after page, (after page)...

Do you have a set of rules for ATS, or know where to import one from, I have it but it doesn't work with ATS on the basic settings.

Sorry, not sure. But you could also try fasterfox add-on.
