Also, compare how peaceful protesters were treated by the police during the G20 meeting.

They were treated like cattle and the police were very brutal, yet contrast that with their almost indifference towards these rioters.

I understand many of these rioters are actually children, but I don't think it's an excuse not to try and stop them.

Infact I can't see any reason for not using water cannons and tear gas against them.

A LOT of bridges were built last night.

Sikhs had their temples open to EVERYONE and they escorted scared people home or made a cuppa for them in the temple.

All sides stood together to protect each others homes.

There were racial tensions in the area but after last night a lot of hearts have been melted.

Makes me very proud to be English and a part of this community

The riots have nothing to do with that, it is from a few protesting at the death of a man, the scum then saw an opportunity to steal, nothing more.

I think this is where you can clearly see the difference between a NWO Goon of the law and a real LEO tbh.

I don't think it's indifference, more hesitation to use force. The mayor even had to approve use of a water cannon?

Those are on standby on every football match between certain clubs here in NL by default, they shouldve had one much faster.

If they are the descendents of immigrants from former British colonies, they know and have no problem admitting, when in the company of their peers, that Britain is a society whose wealth has been built on murdering and plundering their former homelands. Their parents/grandparents chose to emigrate to Britain to benefit from this murder and plunder rather than be its victims.

So everything is fine as long as they get their share of the stolen wealth. But if they don't get their fair share, as they see it, they have no qualms about taking it by force. After all, what is wrong about looting the looters?

If there is a riot in Swansea and anyone wants to loot I suggest you dress nice. I will be there filming you in HD and handing a copy to the police. If on the other hand people want to protest about the govt robbing the poor to feed the rich and a lack of true justice and equality in this country, I will stand by your side.

There is a bigger issue here than the looters, it's the society that created them. You cannot condemn one without condemning the other. I have sympathy for the dissaffected youth, but it doesn't extend to standing back and watching them ruin peoples lives and hurt them.

Looters are being brought before the courts....they are being fined!!!

So much for tough justice...thanks to our government these people are waking our streets!

Most of them aren't just getting fined. Those are mainly the ones who are guilty of ''theft by finding'', which is one of the more minor crimes people are being convicted of.

Most of the others convicted have been granted bail or remanded in custody, pending sentencing.
