Its strange here.Im working in Germany atm and all i can get is CNN and its has completly blacked out these riots that you guys are talking about.

It showed the last three days but tonight........nothing!.

Very strange indeed.Maybe they are trying to keep it more quiet from the rest of Europe?

its for sh**s and giggles, the kids have no prospects in life with the majority with no father figure. They see this as a chance to get the latest gadgets or clothes that they wouldnt be able to afford normally because they have no job or are dropping out of school.

Same here, we are not being given any live information. I think everyone should cancel their BBC license fee as a protest.

I think when people are interested in a subject or something that's happening, they always feel it's under represented.

Maybe it is and maybe it isn't, but I imagine its more so people expecting wall to wall coverage with camera crews on every street of England

Its not the same people, if anything, the football crowd will be the ones fighting the looters.

If that happened, the looters would all end up in hospital or worse.

This is getting crazy, just had a call from my father who has seen a group of kids (some of them 10 years old and younger) smashing up displays at a local CO-OP while it's still open.

Extra twist is this is happening in an insignificant town out in the country, population >5000.

It's really spreading everywhere.
