You have to realize how little they are though. Realize that they are there because of their charge. And they quickly decay.

we need this right now - lower gas prices etc - really would help world on a big scale

did anyone else look though this report, and its subsequent references? I am surprised by the lengths with which they went to not overestimate. So much so by thier own calculations we could be looking at a great deal more than they speculate. Nevertheless, it would morethan likely be able to power a ship, assuming the requisit technology could be found, however it would be a very very quickly depleted resource.
