And as I had feared, now that the trading is getting going they are pulling back. Oil is down over $2 silver is leveling off, and it looks like gold might as well.

EU Central Bank to Buy Bonds

The European Central Bank said on Sunday it would "actively implement" its controversial bond-buying programme to fight the euro zone's debt crisis, signaling it will buy Spanish and Italian government bonds to halt financial market contagion.

Dow futures are down 312 at the time of this posting. Not looking good, but was expected with the news.

ETA: Pretty volatile as expected. I think investors are having issues gauging where they should be at.

Is it just me or is Kitco's site getting hammered right now? I am having issues refreshing their site.

ETA: All in all I think this is going to be better than expected tomorrow. I expected the futures market to plunge 500+ points right off the open and it didn't. Maybe they were right when they said the investors saw this coming.

It is slow. I think the world is watching

Syney opens in 15 minutes. They will be nervous seeing this.
