Wait until you see the crop circles next summer, then you will understand.

It's the final countdown.

And before you all get your Knickers in a twist i am not talking about the end of the world.

This famous crop circle (it was one of the last and one of the most showed when people talked about crop circles in 2004 and 2005 was made in two nights, although most sites only show the final result, this:

What they do not show is this one, on the day before:

That's because the second image is Photoshopped.

Thanks for the replies, ArMaP and WeMoveUnseen. Do either of you happen to know the name of the above crop circle so I can look it up?

It's the 2004 Silbury Hill crop circle.

Can't remember which programme, but apparently 'genuine' crop circles are made from exposing the crops to extreme heat and not stomping on them with wood planks.

Personally, I don't know if crop circles are alien related but the experts tend to say the above

One of my favourite members, Pauligirl, did the good work and emailed the Institute that was supposed to have tested the plates. Their response said they hadn't:

Dear Ms. Xxxxxx

thank you for your request.

Unfortunately we cannot help you. There were no analysis performed in BAM.

Kind regards,

BAM Federal Institue for Materials research and testing

It seems, according to this article, the 2004 Silbury Hill crop circle was created over two nights.

This is just a general guide written by one single group from the UK. they are not saying they made every crop circle in the world.

edit on 7-8-2011 by PhoenixOD because: (no reason given)

That's an important point to remember. CropCircleMakers started making crop circles in response to the claim that humans were not capable of making some of the more complex designs. They have never made the claim that they make or have made *all* crop circles.

I hesitate to play the "oldtimer" card, but will do it in this instance. This is a subject I was deeply interested in years ago. That was in the Triassic Period, back before the Internet, when there were objects known as "books." I read everything I could find on the subject. There were a lot of things, including the bending and "blowing out" of plant "nodes" without breaking them; the odd properties of plants associated with the circles; the speed with which some of the circle were made; and on and on, that I still haven't seen explained to this day.

As with many things, if you take your time and read everything, rather than trying to find a quick way to debunk, you'll be much more satisfied with your answers. I've long ago made my peace with the notion that crop circles are a phenomenon. What the nature of that phenomenon is, I cannot say. But it cannot simply be explained away by pointing to that crowd of attention whores known as "Crop Circle Makers"....

I trust my instincts chief, they have served me well so far (sorry for any cliches)

Most crop circles are man made but some are not, you know it deep down.

They are not only for our benefit but for the Earths also. Fractal geometry and it's importance becomes clear if you think about the nature of consciousness. Humans are motivated by greed and ego these days anyway. When was the last time you watched a video of people dancing around in the darkness making one of these amazing glyphs?

Simple patterns yes, but Julia sets, Golden ratios and pi?

Come on man think! It isn't UFOs it is a form of consciousness that interacts with us and the planet on a sub atomic level.

I know your gonna see it in the fullness of time

C'mon...

Everyone knows that crop circles are made by trampling down the crops with boards attached to ropes, just like this

Was it your instinct that told you that the second photo was photoshoped?

No, I don't know a thing about them, but I think that they are all man-made, I haven't seen any impossible crop circle.

Humans are motivated by greed and ego these days anyway.
Some, not all, and you know it, right?

When was the last time you watched a video of people dancing around in the darkness making one of these amazing glyphs?
Never, but I hate videos and I hate dancing.

Julia sets are a little more complicated (but I haven't looked into it from a crop circle point of view), but golden ratios and pi (another ratio) are as easy as a circle.

Come on man think! It isn't UFOs it is a form of consciousness that interacts with us and the planet on a sub atomic level.
Then why does it do it only on some places and not others? Why mostly in the UK?

I know your gonna see it in the fullness of time
I can wait and I have no problems in admitting I was wrong.

I thought it was common knowledge that the more complex crop circles were all faked and only the simple, plain round ones, that show measurable anomalies were real... (like no breakage in the stalks, or weird happenings like batteries going dead, or weird measurable energies, or other terminology that I'm forgetting.... )

Id like to address this part of crop circle making and this is something i mentioned in another thread by NewAgeMan. This is my own theory:

When people make these crop circles at night there is a lot of condensation on the stems which makes them wet easier to 'bend'. All plants absorbe moisture at night Then when the sun comes up the condenation evaporates and the stems dry out and people cant work out how the stems can be bent without breaking.

As for "weird measurable energies" one possible explanation is mentioned in point 2 of the "Preparation" section of the OP.

that's a good theory but out of curiosity though, don't you think that experts that have studied crop circles have thought of that?I'll be the first to say I don't know how they are made but most crop circles I believe, are not that simply explained.I base my theory on this, by saying most things made by man have flaws I don't care what it is they(humans) always make mistakes,.......
some crop circles are man made but it doesn't explain them all.

It looks like Lucy Pringle makes plenty of money from crop circles judging by the amount of merchandise she is selling and the talks she gives on the subject.

IMO the circle certainly fits the MO of a fake.

1 - Right next to a road.
2 - On a layline.
3 - In a field with tracks that make it easy to walk directly from the road into the field without leaving foot prints.
4 - All parts of the design are connected or disconnected by only a few feet so people can walk around it without leaving obvious foot prints.

Theres not a single witness in Lucys report is named so nothing she claims can be checked up on.

Her report says there were "a lot of cars" pulled over at the side of the road before the guy spotted it from the air. Could this have been the people who made the design? Because you certaily wouldnt have been able to see anything from the side of the road.

But i wish Lucy all the best with her merchandise and lectures..

Why don't any of these crop circle 'researchers' enlist the help of an agricultural scientist?

Wouldn't someone with vast knowledge on wheat or rapeseed be a key figure in any serious crop circle research...?
