Sgt. Hamburger died along with 22 Navy SEALs who were being flown in to assist an Army Rangers unit pinned down by enemy fire in restive Wardak province early Saturday morning.
Then, later in the article we find this
The Pentagon has not publicly confirmed that Sgt. Hamburger was among the 30 U.S. troops killed when the helicopter carrying them went down Saturday, but U.S. Army officers visited Reagan's Grand Island, Nebraska, home Saturday afternoon.
So, which is it CNN? They say with certainty that he died on the mission, and then later say nobody confirmed it, but that's our assumption.
Very misleading.
