So yeah, I wrote a short poem to honor the election day...

The Night Before Elections

As I watch TV and sip my drink
I see Bush and Kerry and it makes me think
Tomorow people will cast their vote
... # damn where is the remote?!
I cant watch their ugly faces
wave and fake smile on so many places

I switch teh channel and what do I see?
Some dude ratning on president to be
Oh, crap, change it again!
My soul already cries in vain
Lord, oh Lord the punishment is too much
These two morons I really don't have to watch

I turn off the TV, join the internets wonder
And to my surprise there is only election talk to ponder
So, I go to BTS to off topic thread
to write this poem and chat
Screw elections and all the candidates
I'm gonna get drunk!!

ok, the last part doesnt rhyme, but that is my "style", my "signature" in poems

Looks like Bush is the winner. Hooray!

Kerry to me never looked like he had the stamina to be president & he picked the wrong wife. IMHO I think people don't consider her "American" enough.

If Kerry became president, I feel that serious health problems would plague him in the future. He's better off not becoming president for his own sake & the country.

Of course this is all my personal opinion. Don't berate me for it!

I went away for 4 days and the laundry is in 3 foot piles in every room!!!!
I swear these men of mine's are so lazy, they waited until I came back to tell me that they ran out of underwear instead of doing their own laundry

I don't clean up after anybody.
If someone left a piece of clothing on the floor, I would step around it.
If someone left dirty dishes in the sink or on the counter, I would leave it there.
If someone spilled something, I would not wipe it.

Sooner or later, it will disturb the offender more than myself & they'll soon learn to clean up after themselves.

Geez... and I thought I would get some relief and see less political threads after the election is over (I know that results just officially came in today) but it seem it's even worse: there's just SO MANY THREADS about the US elections, and the board is so funkin slow today! I think I'll take another few days off...

Especially since now we'll see all the rebuplicans bragging about how their beloved president got elected again...

I'm hungry like a wolf right now. Hahaha.

Time to replenish that iron supply with some partially bleeding steak. Yummy!

I tried this method, it didn't work, mold started growing, the ants and roaches moved in, fungus began to grow and the house was an absolute sticky messy disaster, but still no one lifted a finger, we ran out of cups and glasses and my husband would wash his one glass, pour himself a drink and leave the sink piled up.

I know for a fact, they didn't cook while I was gone, because there wasn't a dish in the sink, so either they didn't eat at all, or it was fast food and pizza.

while I would love to not have to pick up after them, I can't stand my house being unclean and I usually crack and end up doing it all myself.

The only way I get them to ever do anything in the house, is by bitching, having a hissy fit and threaten them with a nervous breakdown.
