JERUSALEM, Israel -- Archaeologists in Jerusalem uncovered a rare gold bell believed to be part of a priestly garment from the time of Jesus.

"It's not one bell that was on the coat. It was more than 70 bell[s] that [were] on the coat. The man was walking with that bell on his coat," Israel Antiquities Authority head archaeologist Eli Shukronof told CBN News.

What a sweet little sound. Had completely forgotten about the bells from Exodus. Recently read a Christian book from the late 1800's/early 1900's from the U.S. listing and explaining, in the understanding of that time, the meanings of all the symbols etc. and was surprised to read that the bells were a symbol to keep demons away and that when they were pictured it implied that there was danger.
