That's a good question!, Balkan.
I am learning more and more on this subject, and believe it could very well possible. People are so negative and dark it is no wonder we have heaped alot of this upon ourselves. yeah even our end times..

The light will win over the darkness though
It ALWAYS shines and outdoes, unless your battery goes out lol.

Thanks for the thread! Am enjoying reading! S&F!

I think this is a real danger within the alternative community. There is so much reporting of the dark acts, which is understandable because much of the truth which is not being reported by the MSM is dark, but people need to know about it.

Very true. I've never been one to stick my head in the sand and pretend things are rosy in the world, but I'm at a point in my life where I'm tired of being bombarded with negativity everyday. In fact, I decided today I'm going to get back to work on some things I've been putting off because of health related issues (that are finally starting to get cleared up) and focus on those things and more positivity in my life and the world. I've had nothing to do for several weeks now, and idle hands are the devil's work, are they not?
I'm going to make a hard effort to keep the TV off, stay off the internet except to check my email, and steer clear of any nasty stuff, so this will be my last post for the time being. I wish you all the best, and hope you have many enlightened conversations. Peace.

That sounds like an excellent plan. We are bombarded by negativity all the time, and from a purely logical point of view, that can't be good for anyone.

I hope you thoroughly enjoy your time away from the 'bad news'. I wish you peace and light and excellent healt, bro.

You have asked a very relevant question!

I think that whatever basic negativity there was, is being reinforced across the board with the emergence of the so-called information age.

Browsing the internet has really become a most addictive activity and takes preference now to all those other wonderful things we could be doing instead. In the past I would've most likely spend my Saturday late-afternoon digging over a veggie garden or brushing my cat. But now I tend to spend that time visiting threads on ATS and main-stream news sites, and reaffirming in my mind all the world's negativity and worries about impending doom and gloom.

If there was a speck of chance that something would go amiss in our near future, it is definitely going to happen now! We are constantly seeking proof and trying to find confirmation of this event, and it is definitely contributing to a fast-growing synergy of thought. And that synergy keeps feeding the thought-pattern. We feed the synergy, and the synergy keeps feeding us. A viscious cycle if you will.

I am sure that when the synergy becomes strong enough, it is capable of fast-tracking the occurrence of that would-be bad event.

The attitude of people as a collective seems to be mostly negative and bleak

Where is this source from?
Where I'm from most people seem happy and contempt are you in Iraq? Or are you just a negative person?
Clear your head and smile the world is still beautiful.

Yup, not so much happy, but a boat load of contempt.

I think so too!
I've been concerned about this for a long time, not just peoples thoughts and attitudes but radio and television broadcasts that detail horrendous deeds and actions everything from sexual perversion to detailed torture and murder

we really have to stop making our visualizations so detailed and specific

these broadcasts never go away and they are floating around the universe FOREVER!!

it's a problem

Do you believe that we are metaphysically manifesting the end of the world (or at the least, a new dark age) with our collective thoughts?

Since thought is the basis for all human action, then whatever manifests is indeed the result of our thoughts.

However, our downfall will be (as it has always been) that we tend to view life as a competition, rather than a vacation. We are taught that we must work hard for 8-12 hours a day, accumulate as much money and material wealth as possible, and keep up with the Jones's.

We are slaves to money, because it's equated with personal security.

In truth, we do not need money to live.
If everyone were a farmer, carpenter or doctor (or combination) human life would be sustained just fine.

Again though, everyone is so preoccupied with their own survival, we fail to see the world as a global family.
Instead, we see borders, boundaries and fences as the norm... a strange notion to the free-spirited!

We are a sad, sadistic and paranoid race of creatures... for the most part.
Or, perhaps I'm just thinking that we are.

The old adage - be careful of what you think - is as true today as its always been. Yes of course you can influence your reality by your state of mind. Examples include Gurus, who are in a blissful state to people incarcerated in mental institutions.

However, to influence on a global scale - the end of the world - you would need a hefty proportion of the worlds population in the correct state of mind to affect the change. (That should be a comforting thought.)

I don't know whether any of you are familiar with Dion Fortune - and the Battle for Britain. She was a magician who sought other like minded souls to meditate and mentally retard Hitler's plans to invade the Isles. Makes for a great read but also gives you an insight into the dedication and mind power needed to thwart something on a relatively small scale. (everything is relative
)

All I can say is your life is your own - no one owns it other than you. If you want to you can be in control. You just have to have the Will to do it.

What I believe might be a little deep, but, bare with me, it's just a theory, one of many....... I think that TPTB have been manipulating humanity in to metaphysically manifesting what is going on today with our current situations. Look at all the connections that politicians have or have been linked to with satanic worship, here is a small example, don't know how good of one it is, but is an interesting piece www.rense.com...
and all of the other claims of government mind control experiments like MK Ultra, there is definitely some bad juju going around. I think they are pushing us into completing their master plan for them, or at least lying the foreground of it.

Don't bother listening to the blinking socialist blatherskypes, kro.
It would seem that only the new-agers are scared and worried about where the world is right now and where we are going. Those of faith know what is going on and who is in charge of our future. I, for one, am quite happy and optimistic of the future.

Yes, there are too many evil people on this planet. Very few people love one another unconditionally. So yes, we as the human species are manifesting the end.
By hoping for the end of the world on ATS or other sites, we are NOT manifesting the end. That just ain't how it works. It's the evil SOBs all over the world who are doing it.

Great Post OP.

We are most definitely manifesting a new golden age, as someone earlier mentioned.
The negatives, natural disasters and general bleakness gets the strongest right before this happens.
As we are starting to witness at the moment if you look close enough. The movement before the tide spills over.
Be weary of the next year and a half or so, but remember there is only love and light at the base of everything, at the moment we are slowly but surely digging down through the dark, but all is well in the scheme of things.

Alot of people see the headlines and assume the whole world is falling apart. A quick read through some history books however will show that things today are drastically improved from what has happened in the past.

There are also as many good things going on in the world as there are negative ones. It just comes down to what you want to focus your energy on.

Examples? Starvation and poverty is on the rise globally. It must be nice to live in a bubble.

not sure who's in bubble.
