Ive been trying to find out where these comets will be visible from but some answers are too technical, im not into telescopes and such. Can some one tell me what comets ill be able to see with binoculars from UK and when roughly?

imagine your on a ball which is wobbling and spinning (cause you are), and something is coming toward you (cause it is), will it be to your right or left or up or down? obviously your constantly changing position will be constantly changing your perspective, early evening it may be in the eastern sky then later in the night it may be in the western sky, it may be far to the south of you in the sky or if the earth wobbles just right on those days it may be in the northern sky,

thats why its so hard to discern.

i think i read that elenin is above us on the ecliptic plane so i 'think' that means it is more likely to be in the northern sky,

lets see how long it takes phage to post in this thread with the answer
