Moon 2011-08-05 Time 22 : 35, humidity 86% Equipment MTO11CA ( Russenton ) & 40mm eyepiece.

It's a short one this time, because the Moon was already to low on the horizon for me...

No i don't do it for the views, i do it for the people who like to see the moon planets sun etc...not everyone has a telescope to watch through

can you add any technical details - like equipment used i.e telescope aperture and software/camera solutions.
the moon is always so mesmerising but I like the techie side as well.

Hi digitalf,

The MTO-11CA 10/1000 is a 4.8" Telephoto Lens, with use of a diagonal you can use it like a telescope.
its has a focal lenght of 1000mm.

Movie was made with a Sony pocket Camera HX5V filmed through eyepiece, see video below
