Newbie from the UK

Good evening fellow members of ATS. I have been a regular visitor to ATS for 18 months, and registered an account in March of this year. But i thought it was time to stop lurking in the shadows and finally contribute (where possible).

As stated in the thread title i'm from the UK (Portsmouth). I'm a former British Army (Royal Corps Of Signals) Lance Corporal, who served in Iraq during the Allied invasion in 2003.

My specialist trade was the interception of enemy Non-Communication Systems (Radar). My role in Iraq was to locate Iraqi air defenses (not that they had many left after the first Gulf War) which mainly consisted of ZSU 23/4's.

Anyway thats enough waffling on.
