If you could bring one band back, what would it be?

Whether a member died, the band retired, broke up, or whatever. If there was one band you can bring back to perform again, who would it be? This can go for single artists too.

Bob Marley?
Sublime?
Beatles?
Blink182?
Guns N Roses?
The Doors

Me, I would love to see Nirvana come back. I would like to see if Kurt Cobaine could of kept the talent going.

The jimi hendrix experience. Right when jimi died he started to get into jazz and was writing some AMAZING stuff.

Good choice on Nirvana. And for the record, it would be much better to see John Lennon come back as a solo artist than it would be to have to suffer through seeing him alongside that wannabe genius Paul McCartney. Maybe George could make a cameo appearance. I wouldn't mind seeing Otis Redding either. Or Hank Williams. Bradley Nowell. Frank Zappa. Young Elvis Presley. Nick Drake. And on, and on, and on.

Blind Melon! Hands Down!

Nirvana next...

Alice in Chains or Sublime would be my choices.

As a (slightly) more realistic hope I would settle for one more album from Pink Floyd with Roger Waters.

You bring up a very good point. John Lennon was the true talent. I am sure he could of carried on with an amazing solo career.

I would say either Queen, AIC, or Nirvana.

Sublime.

They are on tour right now, but without Bradley on vocals it's just not Sublime.

Maybe they have his head saved in one of those cryogenic thing-a-ma-jigs!!

One can dream.

If bringing back from the dead:

1. Sublime with Brad

If just getting back together as if they never split up and got all greedy, selfish EGO filled..

1. Guns and Roses....

Better than bringing them back, it'd be amazing to see Jimi and the Experience live in Paris '68.

I second that motion.
And add a worldwide tour after a new album.

Oh come on ATS'ers...you can do better than that. Most of those groups haven't been gone that long. Think about the ones who started it all. I'd like to hear what the Big Band sound would be like with todays tech...like the Dorsey brothers. Those guys mastered their instruments like no others before them. How about the harmonies of the Mamas & the Papas? The powerful vocals of Gary Puckett ( and the Union Gap) ? The Yardbirds, The Animals, Cream, The Zombies, I could go on.

Gotta love 'em right down to their pistachio polyester...LOLOL

Another excellent point. Historical composers. Either him or Bach.

I wonder what they could do with modern instruments and computers?
