I am a big fan of Fringe, John Noble, and everything strange and unusual so everything about this is perfect!

Source: EW.com

In Dark Matters, Noble explores the most unusual scientific research ever conducted — including head transplantation studies, actual zombie investigations (!) and attempts to cross-breed humans and those damn dirty apes (trailer below). “The stories we share in Dark Matters are as outlandish as a great sci-fi script or as disturbing as a classic horror tale — the only difference is that they’re all true,” Noble said. “The series offers a glimpse into the dark side of science, as well as human nature.”

"Dark Matters" premieres in the United States on the Science Channel on August 31st at 10pm EST.

They really need to advertise this better!!! This sounds like a great show for those of us who like this sort of thing.

I finally got to watch two episodes of this show last night. Interesting scientific experiments and facts shown.
Hopefully this show continues on !

I like it too, but geez the dramatizations are dreadful. I think that even if they are supposed to be cheesy they are really overdoing it. I also wonder why John Noble is doing an American accent for the show, although I have noticed that he's failed a few words as he does in Fringe bloopers.

First off, who's John Noble? Is that Walter?

Second, the Zombie thing, I've seen documentaries about real life Zombies.
I think it's in Africa, they practice Voodoo and they have something to do with eating human flesh, is this whats on the show?

Yep, John Noble plays Walter/Walternate. He also played Denethor in "Lord of the Rings".

I don't recall the show exploring zombies yet. The show is about "mad science" basically. It told the tale about the Soviet Union's experiments to impregnate human women with sperm from a chimpanzee to create Human-Ape hybrids. Another episode discussed the US/Russian psyops programs. The dramatizations are horrendous, but they include commentary from scientists and related specialists.
