Wipe all debt

All this would do is cause inflation to sky-rocket out of control.

Would you like to have another "great depression"?

You could be quite right. And in fact, I think you are. But Im trying to look on the bright side with a new start, instead of on the 1984 dystopia we are fast approaching

I wonder if people would prefer that scenario, an even more powerful, more solidified NWO, over a financial collapse.

excuse me but your plan sounds very simple.

you basically hope people will become better humans while they strive to survive.

cant say it wont happen

but go ask the third world what have they ever gained from being good humans

morals and ethics are good goals indeed, but they have never fed anyone

some will still rob and steal

plus a population in shock and awe is much more likely to be easier to control than suddently gain some utopian human values

we need to start to accept that our destructive an

this society is evil, sick and corrupt. still i feel fine.

what does that tell you?

im not for or againts anything

i just am

It wasnt a plan, though. It was just a thought that I would simply explore, and type out.

However adversity can teach cooperation, and give insight into past mistakes. Does it always? No. But I only said it was a chance, and I explained why I thought it was necessary for that chance to be taken (however none of us have any control if a collapse ever will happen).

Perhaps. Or it could be the defining moment of mankind, where differences are put aside and cooperation is learned.

Im not sure... but my initial response would be that you are either simply indifferent, or complacent, or both.

Both of which I already commented about being things that people need to wake up from, or nothing is going to change.

A collapse would spur change; WHAT change, Im not sure, however, ironically, *I* seem to be the one looking on the bright side about all this, while some of those opposing my point of view are seemingly expressing an absolute and total LACK of faith that humanity is anything other than a primitive ape placated with cloths and cars and TVs, and if those were taken away, the true character of the human would be hideous to behold.

Im not sure you all are so wrong in that assumption. However, like I said in a previous post, a financial collapse would be a true test of the human character, and would really define the content of humanity's collective soul.

I would go into such an event with the intent on exposing the best in humanity, and being the change I wanted to see in the world. Most seem resigned that only the very worst would come out.

Why? Of course if you just wiped debt and kept the same system, but that's very limited thinking. If something like that were to happen it would have to be a part of a completely new system. That's part of the problem moving forward is that people apply the "now" system to any future thing. To make it work we would most likely have to rethink what money means and go back to a hard backed currency.

I get your reasoning in hoping it would force humanity into changing for the better. Look at history, all the collapsed empires, societies, civilizations, etc. Has any of those collapses really changed humanity in a positive sense? I believe it is history repeating itself on a grander scale.

I would love to see the debt record erased, but the banks won't allow that. Most of the people in the west will suffer greatly. How many people really know how to homestead and provide for themselves and family? IMO a great societal collapse will bring chaos and a lot of death before people realize they need to work together as communities to survive and thrive. I do not welcome what lies ahead, but we need to learn, prepare and find like minded people to work together to lessen the pain of whats sure to come.
