from scotland to turkey (edinburgh to istanbul) is 1776 miles approx.
at no point does this article say outright the "link" is physical i think the supposed link is a similarity.
"link is to similarity as gullible is to conspiracy".
once again there are no tunnels from scotland to turkey, however it might explain the appearance of the kebab in our culture in scotland.would not be
surprised if fissures existed in the earths crust that linked the two but highly dought anyone could carve that through rock, even over 100s or 1000s
of years.projects would be abandoned due to changes in cultures etc.
however on a much smaller scale.everyone knows about underground rivers etc, this story emparted to me when i was 8 or 9 still creeps me out.
when i grew up in county down,n ireland a local lady that babysat me,best granny i never had, told me of a teenage girl who drowned in a local lake, her
body was not found, there were a few witnesses and no fowl play.this was the turn of the last century 1900 or so.her body was found in another lake
about 25 or 30 miles away days later, that always scared me on so many levels, imagine your family never finding your body, what else could be lurking
there, and how far did these caverns go?
