Digital Signage Software

I am implementing a digital signage system. I have all the equipment set up and working using AMX IS-SPX-1000 players. I am looking for some software to use with it, I am licensed to use AMX InspiredSignage Xpress but at the moment would like to find something else, I am having a learning curve issue with this software and was looking for something else if I can find something for free, if at all possible. Any suggestions as to other solutions? TIA

they're pretty pricey, but i'm sure if you look around you might find some free trials

can any of them be hacked to put your own messages on ?

Thanks, I will check them out. I hate that I have to learn another language, xml, I have no desire to really learn. I am only a slave so I better do it.

Does your system also rely on svg files? If so, what is your preferred svg editor?
